You may (or may not) have noticed the RR website has been missing some poorly photographed mens and womenswear over the last month or so (and we’ve been a little quiet over here in terms of product too)🕵️‍♂️

That’s because we’ve been working hard to re-vamp how we bring our curated offering to those who can’t make it in-store 🛒         
                                                                    
This Monday (29th April) at 7pm we’ll be releasing our first ‘drop’ of the year featuring some stunning pieces from a few of our fav brands including  and so much more 💥

Without putting too much pressure on this we will try to give you one, really good quality edit of super wearable pieces each month 👏

Yesterday we celebrated 1 year of Round Retail and everyone’s kind words have really got me in my feels. So I thought it would be fun to tell you how it all started... Swipe ➡️

I was applying for jobs, selling my own stuff online, hating the process (of both those pursuits) and battling against the idea of working for a retailer bringing ‘newness’ into a world that really doesn’t need it. Listening to some really sad news on the radio I saw an advert for a table-top sale near where I live and decided to sell my stuff in person and raise some money for the
3. My brilliant mates came and shopped and I raised nearly £200 towards the earthquake relief fund in Turkey and Syria. I had £200 in my pocket and £200 to put into giving this idea a go.
4. Viewed a lovely shop in Brockley that my friend had previously popped up in — negotiated hard on the rent, luckily they loved the idea and we were on our way.
5. Set to work gathering furniture (second hand of course) and dragged my mum down from Hull to help out, the blue brand was born.
6. Took a job as a nanny (which I loved) meaning I could be flexible with my days and time.
7. Plotted and planned what we’d do — put the shout out for clothes on here and got a bus all around town collecting them.
8. Packed up from home and we were ready to go (smashing our new living room light into a million pieces in the process 🙃).
9. Invited movers, makers, bakers, you name it to join us and use our space to host their own workshops and raise money for . This is who has done 5(?!) crochet workshops with us now and has one more coming up at the end of this month.
10. Lined up the next shop for the following week and repeated x10+ times over in the last year.

This is my long way to say I have loved (nearly) every moment and can’t believe I get to call this work! Raising money for incredible charities daily is the most rewarding feeling I didn’t know existed and I’m feeling super proud of the last year 💙

This March are opening a pre-loved fashion pop-up shop in the beautiful through and powered by 💛 💙

With rough sleeping steeply on the rise, homelessness charity 999 Club are calling on local residents to show their support and get involved. Learn more about their work and what you can do to help in-store from Wednesday 6th March 🤝

Annie here, founder of Round Retail.

Currently residing in a beautiful store on the Kings Road, Chelsea 😍 Funnily enough, my first ever retail job was in on the kings road after moving to London from Hull, and I LOVED it.

Having then moved around other retailers I loved (and wanted a discount from 🤣) and I found myself looking to move away from buying new and couldn’t quite find a place that was hitting the spot.

I really wanted to shop second hand, in store, that wasn’t cramped and/or full of sh*t, but that was easy to shop by size and frankly didn’t smell fusty.

Simultaneously I wanted to make money from the clothes I was no longer wearing (that I had invested in) without the hassle of haggling on Vinted or eBay 💸

I felt like they were too valuable to me to let go of for nothing. And after conversations with friends it transpired that they felt the same with their wardrobes.

So now, fast forward 9 months I’m running monthly pop-ups all over London and beyond, working with independent, local charities that don’t have shops of their own to fundraise for them and circulate some oh-so beautiful clothes at the same time 💙

The aim is to create a space that looks good and does good.

We invite creatives to run workshops in our spaces, offer free repairs in store to extend the lifespan of your existing wardrobe and most importantly raise money for charities that are very often ‘up against it’ when it comes to funding.

We’re filled with quality pieces, from often ‘aspirational’ brands that our like-minded community have entrusted us with 👯‍♂️

So chuffed with that result 🥹 Last month we didn’t have any pop-ups planned for the first time in 8 months and ngl it was a little scary.

We chose to focus on planning ahead, smartening up our online store and kept it local.

We sneaked a couple of weekends at our home which was great to see so many local faces and an opportunity to intake some really stunning stock (coming soon).

Most importantly it helped us raise over £400 for  💙

Tomorrow we open our two week pop-up on the Kings Road with .london 🎉 We’ll be open from around 12pm and cannot wait to celebrate the launch from 6pm 🥂

Always up to 80% off your favourite brands with 1/3rd of all sales going towards their fantastic work tackling health inequalities, food access, the climate crisis globally and bringing communities together using the power of plants 🌱🥕

Looking to save a bit on near-new clothes AND help the planet?

Round Retail launched in April 2023 and aims to bridge the gap between fashion resale and charitable stores.

Their pop-up and online stores focus on quality pre-loved fashion items, from mid-luxury brands, highlighting the original Recommended Retail Prices in an attempt to encourage consumers to value pre-loved items and appreciate fashion that already exists within the economy rather than buying new.

All products have been given by fashion-savvy people who will receive one-third of all sales. Another one-third will go to an incredible charity, and one-third is retained by Round Retail to host their pop-up shops, events and to keep Round Retail running.

1/3 of all online sales for January will be donated to plant-based charity Made In Hackney AND you can even sort the shop bu vegan items!
