MobiFlight will be making a main release (v10.2.1) soon, and this will contain an update of our firmware (v2.5.4). This is not a mandatory update, but you will see improvements with it.
If you have upgraded to v2.5.3, then it's probably worth doing this one. If you're still on v2.5.2 or lower, then you should skip straight to v2.5.4.

The important bit: This update will break your existing configs. But, there is a very easy fix 🙂
We have made a change which makes the pin assignments much clearer. Before, they weren't in the correct order, making it a bit confusing when inputting pin numbers. Now we've changed the order to make it match the PCBs. This means that when you update and open your configs, MobiFlight will now have swapped the CS and CLK pins over. You just need to go into your device configurator, and switch the CS and CLK back pins over again.
Or, if you want to make it even easier, just load up our board configs again from "...\MobiFlight\MobiFlight Connector\Community\kavSimulations\config" and these have already had the pin numbers updated for you 🙂

As always, we recommend a clean MobiFlight installation if you haven't updated recently, to remove some of the old conflicting files that may still be hanging around.

Our latest update is now with MobiFlight, and we're on pins and needles waiting for its rollout in their next update.

🚨 This update is a game-changer and is tagged as mandatory for an unparalleled experience. Yet, if your current setup is just the way you like it, no stress! You can keep flying high without any changes. Just note, we're moving our support to versions 2.5.2 and above to keep up with the significant improvements we've made. So we strongly recommend updating to stay at the forefront of flight simulation.

MobiFlight have now released a new Beta, v10.0.2.3 🤩
This now has all of our most recent fixes & updates. So, there is now no longer any need to download the files manually from GitHub 😁

You can still use the same tutorial video (linked in comments), but now all the files will already have been downloaded directly into MobiFlight! ✈️

For anyone that uses KiCad, I have now created a complete library for all 5 of the LCDs. They include, symbols, footprints and 3D models.
