Donna has been such an amazing driving instructor over these past months. She has allowed me to feel comfortable and confident when driving and preparing for my test. Whilst also being super friendly and positive, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an instructor.

Donna allowed me to get a quick grasp of driving with no experience before hand and was able to educate me above and beyond. Not only did she allow me to develop my practical driving but also helped me learn the theory side of practical tests such as “show me, tell me” questions so that my final test can be as perfect as possible, minimising any faults. After having my confidence knocked previously with a different instructor, I was ready to give up, however I was recommended Donna, and was so glad as she was calm and positive and built my confidence back up. Donna made me feel comfortable in my driving and made me feel very prepared for my test. I’m pleased to say I passed first time and would throughly recommend Barton Driving School.

Donna Booker is a fantastic driving instructor. I've had her since I first started learning, and to the passing of my test. She has always been helpful, and great at teaching. Initially I was very intimidated by the aspects of driving, but Donna knew exactly how to push me into learning and building up my confidence with driving. Donna booked my tests, which has saved me a lot of hassle and frustration with the test booking system. Plus, when I felt that I wasn't ready for a test, she was happy to cancel and book another one for later on. When I passed my test, it was on a route that Donna had taken me on just a lesson ago.

Overall, I always felt comfortable with her, and I'm glad she was my instructor. Would recommend.

Donna was recommended to us by a few people whose teenagers Donna had taught.
My daughter and I were not sure how she would get on learning to drive as she does have a neurodiverse condition and this can make some tasks more challenging.
Donna's initial communications between herself and I were prompt and organised, and communication between Donna and my daughter was quickly established, so they could build a relationship before my daughter got into the car (arranging when lessons would be possible around time tables and availability etc).
Lessons were a positive experience from the start for my daughter and Donna and she was successful in passing her test first time.
Donna is clearly a very good teacher, very professional, very thorough and my daughter found Donna to be very understanding of how she processes information.
I would highly recommend Donna, as would my daughter

I would definitely recommend Donna’s Barton driving school for anyone who is looking to get out on the roads and pick up great tips and experience and pass in a good amount of time. I starting learning with Donna at Barton driving school at the end of October. Donna was absolutely amazing she was clear and very patient throughout every lesson but most importantly didn’t rush anything and took things steady, but at a good pace making sure that everything is taught correctly and making you the best driver possible to pass your test and ensuring you are a safe driver after your test aswell. Every lesson there were new teaching points and refreshers from previous lessons making learning very easy with Donna. She is also extremely organised and always on time aswell as being a lovely calm person throughout every lesson. Every lesson was amazing and Donna is truly one of the best driving instructors you can find anywhere. I passed at the start of March 2023 first time and have Donna to thank for that. Couldn’t recommend a better instructor.

Donna is a lovely and knowledgeable driving instructor. She really helped me to be able to understand certain things in driving even if it meant her thinking of different ways to explain it to me so I would get it! She really does have your best interests at heart and helps with getting tests earlier than you expected if you’re ready for it. Overall Donna is just a great person to be around as a driving instructor because she’s so talkative but also gives you so much knowledge on each lesson. She makes you feel comfortable and I wouldn’t of had any other driving instructor!
