She’s ringing the changes this month with an eclectic mix of retro and small items, rather than her signature pretty china pieces. She assures us that her usual pretty vintage will resume shortly!

Here’s a quick guide on how to shop at our one day summer virtual vintage fair:

☀️At 9am on Sunday 28th July the fair begins and our traders start adding items for sale onto their grids using our unique hashtag.

☀️To shop, simply enter the hashtag which you will find on our most recent promo posts into your search bar and you will find all the items as they are listed.

☀️If you see something you like, click on the image and this will take you directly to the seller’s post where you can comment SOLD/ME PLEASE etc to make contact with the seller to discuss more details.

☀️Your seller will arrange payment details with you.
Our traders will not redirect you to Etsy, eBay or their websites to finalise payment, this is an Instagram only event.

☀️at 9pm on Sunday 28th July at 9pm our sellers stop listing but the fair remains live so you can still purchase days or weeks after the event if you so wish.

A small but sweet little vintage treasure haul from last Sunday at my most favourite carboot of the year. I look forward to this one for months ahead - it’s one of my biggest stock-seeking excursions of the year. Sadly, it was too soggy for many of the stallholders, so this is just a tiny fraction of what I normally come away with 🥲

So what’s happened to our summer eh? I’m not a hot weather person, but honestly, this constant rain here in the north east is getting me down!

(Btw, I’ll be keeping the French milk bottle for when I make sloe gin😉)

My best Wednesday haul in forever!! Soo good to be out in actual sunshine, shame about the bog under foot and nearly got the car stuck but worth it I reckon. My fave is probably the basket or the mirror. How about you? And of course I bought Christmas lights in July.. Please just ask for first dibs on anything. (Hornsea finds from today will be coming thursday)

once in a while, a vintage treasure with a fascinating history is unearthed by our dedicated sellers! 🙂👍

Boy, have I got a fabulous Deco with a story for you! This is Deborah in 1939, a debutante being presented to the Monarch, reported in The Times.

I have her silver lame and blue moire shimmering train from her evening dress, along with the fabulous white ostrich feather fan, immaculate in its original box.

Her husband to be wore a handmade Herbert Johnson bowler hat with his initials embossed in gold on the internal leather rim. There’s also a delicate deco watch and I’ve a few pairs of deco earrings to feature-but I can’t fit all the photos in one post!

Watch this space! All will be available for sale soon, though I can’t decide whether to keep the hat and frame the fan. Thoughts? 🤔

My recent haul - a couple of car boots plus a buying trip on Monday. My faves are probably the blue wire rack, the lamps, the coat hooks and the Arthur Wood dog piggy bank. How about you? All will be up for sale after they’ve had a good clean / fettle so please just ask for details on anything.

Paper sun parasol, globe, beach towel, brass planter, brass trays, 1980s yellow and blue curtains, blue apothecary bottle, floral jugs/plates and bowls, cut glass trays and pedestal stand, stained glass panels x 4, huge patchwork bag, folding antique mirror, mirrored curiosity cabinet, orange art deco pendant shade and some awesome Turkish brass animal kebab skewers.

There’s a couple of ‘ keepers’ in there I’m afraid. Can you guess what?

All will soon be listed in my vintage shop on Etsy, but if anything catches your eye before going on general sale just let me know. It’s always cheaper and quicker to buy direct. Please ask if you’d like more details or photos. Next posting day is Friday.
