There have been many issues of speeding on our residential roads and it appears to be getting worse.

One of the areas that I have seen and witnessed is Church lane area. This is a busy road and has been overlooked in the past for traffic calming and speed control. Having spoken to local residents they are concerned about the amount of near misses and accidents on this road.

I want to work with the local

highways, town council and residents to make the roads and streets around Melksham safe for everyone and to consult with local residents for the best way of achieving this.

Please do get in touch if you think that there is a problem with speeding on your residential road. I will consult residents to help build safer, more environmentally friendly community.
