We are going to deliver real action on speeding, by introducing more speed indicator devices and supporting 20mph speed limits where communities want them. Wiltshire Conservatives will make our roads safer.

We are going to continue to invest in Wiltshire's libraries, leisure centres and public spaces, making them better and more accessible for residents, children and families.

We will deliver action on our roads, and we will improve public transport across the county, by investing in road repairs, resurfacing, public transport and cycle lanes.

We will deliver action on littering and flytipping by significantly increasing resourcing for litter prevention, and doing more to prosecute fly tippers. This will help make our towns, villages and communities even better places to live.

We are committed to maintaining a safety net for our vulnerable residents, so we have pledged to provide at least 1,000 additional council houses, all delivered to zero carbon standards.

We care about our environment, so we have committed to making Wiltshire Council carbon neutral by 2030, protecting our county now and for future generations.

We care about our environment, and the green spaces in our towns and villages, so Conservative-run Wiltshire Council is encouraging wild flowers to grow in our towns and verges, making our County an even more beautiful place.

3.8 million trips are made on Wiltshire buses every year, and so Conservative-run Wiltshire Council is investing £5million to support 99 local bus services, helping to keep our County moving.

Since we were last elected in 2017 - we have invested in our roads and highways, making sure we keep Wiltshire moving. Wiltshire Conservatives Deliver.

There have been many issues of speeding on our residential roads and it appears to be getting worse.

One of the areas that I have seen and witnessed is Church lane area. This is a busy road and has been overlooked in the past for traffic calming and speed control. Having spoken to local residents they are concerned about the amount of near misses and accidents on this road.

I want to work with the local

highways, town council and residents to make the roads and streets around Melksham safe for everyone and to consult with local residents for the best way of achieving this.
