Alice Godfrey Member Pioneer - Whitwell, Creswell, Worksop
I am Alice Godfrey, the new Co-Op Member Pioneer for Whitwell, Creswell and Worksop.
Last week on Saturday, I attended Worksop Pride alongside the Co-op Funeralcare team. We gave out rainbow stickers and flags to the parade participants which helped raise awareness in the community that the Co-op is an inclusive company. This was an important event for us, since having diversity and supporting the LGBTQ+ Community is an important part of the Co-op's values. It was also great fun!

Today I met up with Laura and the team at Creswell Heritage Trust and it was an eye opening visit as I learnt about the history of the Crags as well as what the Co-op is doing to help support this charity and how I could help. A really beautiful location which I urge everyone to try and visit as well to support this lovely cause!
Today I visited one of our local causes, Bassetlaw Cardiac Support Group! They had a guest speaker from the British Heart Foundation today and are doing some great work to bring people suffering with heart conditions and their relatives together. Really lovely people and am happy to be working with them this year ๐
