Today FAST Essex are supporting the Aveley Village Community Foundation Christmas Market in the High Street, Aveley. Why not come down and visit? There are loads of stalls from local trades and businesses including cakes, Santas Grotto, present ideas and some amazing performers.
Also don’t forget to head down to the Community Hub for hot and cold food and drinks, raffle ticket sales and Neighbourhood Watch!

This course is specifically focused towards employers/employees of a small business and business’ that have a low risk chance of an accident. Also those seeking to refresh their certificate

This Course is 6 hours set over 1 day and the certificate is valid for 3 years

The certificate will enable the first aider to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill whilst at work and prevent their condition from worsening.

Feast & Fayre is back and a weekend of family fun is promised Thurrock's biggest family event, the Feast & Fayre, returns to the village of Horndon on the Hill next month

The Stanford Park Christmas lights fundraiser for Katie's Heart Appeal is complete. The last public access defibrillator was installed this week, and every school in Thurrock who didn't have a defibrillator now has one!!! 🎄🎅🎉💗

A HUGE THANK YOU to every single person that was involved, donated, visited and shared on social media. You have all contributed to help save lives 💗💗💗

18 Defibrillators, 5 public access cabinets 🙌🏻

This makes a total of 38 defibrillators and 11 cabinets donated by Katie's Heart Appeal 💗

We have also given help and advice to numerous other organisations to fundraise for their own defibrillators 💗

We had a brilliant weekend teaching 3 childminders paediatric first aid. All learners passed with flying colours and are feeling confident to use their new skills should the worst happen. ⚕️💚

We are all ready for our level 3 paediatric first aid this morning.
Today we have 3 childminders on the course.
This course is suitable for teachers, nursery nurses, LSA’s and any setting that deals in childcare. The qual last for 3 years and is based on 12 contact hours over 2 days.
