When was the last time you 'reviewed your business website'?

Your website is your SHOP FRONT, it gives an impression on you before the customer speaks to you.

Things to check
1) Spelling
2) Grammar
3) Links - do they take you to the page they should
4) Is your website optimised for your tablet or/and phone? it may look fantastic on a laptop.. but no so on your mobile
5) Do you have analytics on your website, do you know how many visitors are hitting your site, where they are browsing, where they start and where they finish viewing - if not - why not?
6) Are your images old, tired and need refreshing?
7) Are your contact details up to date, and are links available to your Facebook & Instagram pages

How many posts have you put on Social Media today that are 1) Personal? 2) Business related?

What are you using on Instagram with your business posts? Do you attract more followers using different hashtags? Have you measured it?

Remember - If you cant measure it, you cant manage it !

Make sure you have an up to date FACEBOOK Page for your business
Invite all your friends to LIKE your business.

Speak to your friends and ask them to ask their friends to LIKE your business through the COMMUNITY section on FACEBOOK.

Check all your prices are correct for the products and services you offer, and that they match what’s on your website.

Are your hours of business correct?
Have you changed any contact details?

Remove any posts from your FACEBOOK business page that arent business related.

Are your reviews up to date and recent or does it look like you stopped getting reviews months or years ago?.

When was your last FACEBOOK post about your business, do you have a timetable of what you post and when?.

Dont forget you can post on INSTAGRAM with a linked FACEBOOK page and TWITTER PAGE and it posts to all.

Are you ready to re-open your business after lockdown? What have you done to ensure the customer finds you? Re-opening offers? Updated website? Explained the social distancing measures to ensure customer safety?

Have you kept in touch with your customers during lockdown? every ‘touchpoint’ is an opportunity, every opportunity could be a sale.

Some businesses wont need to have re-opening offers... Salons, Barbers, Nailbars and many more.. BUT remember - Most customers will go back to the business that they know and trust.. BUT, if they cant get an appointment - they may try elsewhere.. If you are that ‘ELSEWHERE’ and its a customer you havent met before? What are YOU going to do to make that customer YOURS..?
1) A Thank-You card
2) Discount off their next booking
3) Business Card
4) A Cuppa while they are with you
5) Online booking system on your website for ease of booking

Sometimes you get once chance to make a great 1st impression !

WAITING FOR BUSINESS / ORDERS TO JUST DROP IN YOUR LAP??
ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN..

Only those who are proactive, networking, posting on social media, asking for referrals.. and having a PRESENCE will get business.
In my own other business as a Professional Wedding, Event & Media Photographer.. I have seen MASS postponements due to Covid-19.. some 25 couples have moved their date and luckily we have rebooked 19 into new dates..

But i didnt stop there.. I went out, advertised, networked, asked for referrals and been VERY proactive and have 24 new bookings (during Covid-19) for 2021/2022 and 2023.

Time is limited.. use it well

FACEBOOK

NO COST v LOW COST
Facebook can be your best friend when reaching for customers.. but where is your TARGET AUDIENCE?
Who are you trying to reach and why?
What can you offer to your target audience?
Who is / Who are your ideal customers/clients?

NO COST - Facebook is full of groups (so many of those groups hold your target audience).. Take my other business for example (Professional Photography) - there are hundreds of Facebook Groups around Weddings & Events.. are you members of those groups, and digging deeper.. are you members of the more local groups?

Follow other similar businesses to yourself, so if you are a printing company.. follow other printing companies.. Im sure the RAC & AA follow each other on Social Media in lots of ways to keep abreast of whatever each other is doing.

LOW COST - Facebook allows you to run a ad/promotion, boost a post for LOW COST to HIGH COST, and allows you to set particular demographics of the kind of people you are trying to engage with and in what area.. your TARGET AUDIENCE.

I have used Facebook Ads for many years, and by enlarge have had a good return on my investment. Timing is also key to your ads.
