Think beyond the box. Fabric’s much more pliable than paper so it softly folds and ties around any shape. Water won’t turn it into a soggy mess either, so you can reuse or regift it again afterwards too.
What’s the most awkward shape you’ve wrapped?

One of my new gift wrap designs for Christmas 2022, but being fabric of course I’m hoping it will still be wrapping gifts in 2032 and beyond….

Going…going…
Way back in summer I decide which of my designs to print, and how many. That means I sometimes get it a bit wrong. We may not have hit December yet, but this large Christmas gift wrap is nearly gone - just 20 left….
So if you spot a design you really want for your reusable wrap collection, get it early. My crystal ball doesn’t always work well

The Christmas rush started early this year, and this little robin is flying out fast! (excuse the truely terrible pun)

From mini picnic blanket, to gift wrap, to bag accessory, this blush furoshiki scarf is so versatile. I’ve used one of these loads of times already - the colourful tropical leaves seem to go with so many outfits and styles.
It’ll definitely be one I pop in my own bag when I go on hol later in the Summer….

“…the patterns were lovely…. as to the method of wrapping it’s ridiculously easy and I wonder why we don’t all do this as it saves time, reduces waste and looks really good”
When a customer review just encapsulates everything you want to say about fabric gift wrapping 😀😀😀
Have you tried wrapping with fabric yet? If not give it a go next time you need to wrap a present. You don’t need a special scarf, if you’ve got one in your wardrobe try with that and see what you think.
If you’ve already tried, how did you find it?

Take a look in the gorgeous in St Albans. A complete treasure trove of gorgeous gifts and eco products. Including of course KindlyYarn furoshiki scarves 😍

Tying a scarf or furoshiki to your bag is a easy way to accessorise and update. Especially useful if you have a capsule wardrobe. Have you tried it?

Look at these wraps styled by Gift Wrap Genie, she's put 2 wraps back to back before wrapping to create a cheerful contrasting pattern. I think it's a great idea. What do you reckon?

DOUBLE WRAP 🧞‍♀️

I love how neat this is, and these fabrics are so pretty! The contrasting colours can be achieved using a double sided fabric wrap, or by laying two fabric wraps back to back.

Word geek. I couldn't find furoshiki in the dictionary. Then again my dictionary was published in 1996, it's probably in newer ones. Anyone know? I wonder what other words are missing from my 1996 edition?

Aren't these just so sweet? These gorgeous clay gift tags are handmade in the UK by the wonderful . Now available on the KindlyYarn website as a set of four, and posted carefully wrapped in a protective furoshiki (no plastic bubble wrap here!).
As always it's all about reusing, so designs have been specially picked to be versatile and for a whole host of occasions. What do you think?

At long last. Like many small (and even large businesses) we’re being battered by long lead times. Prints that used to take a couple of weeks are now taking several. This popular set is now back after a few weeks gap. But for anyone who’s a last minuter - I usually am - if there is something you really want/need/love do buy it early this Christmas. There will be gaps and out of stocks. And personally, I hate buying stuff for the sake of it. It has to be something I love and want to use again (or think the person receiving it will), so don’t be forced into second choice compromises just because your first choice is gone. That’s where the waste happens...

Love how versatile fabric gift wrapping is. All these - gin, candle, jewellery, book - are wrapped with a 55cm wrap...reuse and regift the wrap time and again.

What do you think of this midnight blue selection of fabric gift wraps? All our wraps are made of a soft, lightweight cotton, so they're really easy to knot and tie and drape well

Complimentary colours. I like to start designing a fabric wrap range with colour palette at front of mind. Keep it simple and stick to one palette, or mix and match it up, knowing that whatever you pick looks great individually, or all thrown together. Which is your favourite? Pine green, raspberry red, or midnight blue, or are you a mixer?

Don’t these displays look lovely? These lovely candles (and pics) are from the wonderful , check her out for some gorgeous gifts.
Or if you’re looking for fabric gift wraps for your small business message me, or click on the link in my bio. Fabric wraps (or furoshiki as they’re known in Japan) are a great reusable alternative to paper gift wrap, are super easy to use (even for awkward shaped products), and make gifts look extra special.

Do kids like presents wrapped in fabric? Yes!
This furoshiki wrapped Birthday present my son gave to his friend was repurposed as a superhero cape! You don’t get that with wrapping paper 😂
Reuse, restyle and re-gift!

It’s what’s inside that matters! Where we can we reuse packaging for our wholesale orders, so they look slightly scruffy on the outside, but don’t judge a book by its cover....

Lovely walk in .woods yesterday. The boys were off climbing trees at Go Ape which meant I was on my own and it was just beautiful, just me. Great reset after a busy few weeks finalising some Christmas furoshiki designs and orders
