Hello and welcome to My Go To Nutrition.

Today I would like to find out what are your daily go to vegetables and why?

One of my favourite go to vegetables is corn on the cob, because it is so yummy and juicy 😋, can be eaten hot and cold, and is a great compliment with any meal or as a snack on its own.

Fun Facts?
Did you know that corn is rich in vitamin C, which is an antioxidant that helps to protect your body's cells from damage and has been known to ward off diseases.

Did you also know that some corn varieties such as the blue corn, have properties within it that are good for eye health, high in nutritional value to reduce blood sugars, and have been known to soothe the urinary tract.

Did you also know that corn contains soluble fibre that regulates the flow of waste accumulated through the digestive tract.
