There are currently letters being received which purport to be from HMRC and appear believable. They are not!

Great fun at the Sea Scouts fete. Open until 3:00pm

After input that I had not covered ALL the local hostelries and caterers, good lady and I walked down to Riverview Diner; on The Causeway. Beautiful cowslips out en-route. Excellent service at Riverview, tasy food and drink coupled with a really friendly welcome from Simon and his crew. Heartily recommended. Cogenhoe is indeed well served for food and drink.
Next stop, Maurice at the football club for my promised free pint. Not that you can buy my attention but a free pint, well…
