How often do you choose you or put yourself 1st my loves?🌸

We have been told by society that being selfless is wonderful and I personally think it’s one of the worse things we have been conditioned with!

Especially women (you may have it too gents - you aren’t excluded here, just speaking from my perception) as I feel we are told to give everything, be last in the queue, it’s nicer that way

And we have made receiving, giving to ourselves first into something selfish….

I know for me that my growth and success in my life has been without a doubt when I’ve been more focused on self, I’ve chosen me, I’ve recognized I’m not giving to myself, I’ve honored my needs and it’s about time you do the same! 🫶

Let’s reframe it like this; we have so many people and projects in our lives we love…

If we are depleated, empty, have given all our energy, feel lack, we aren’t prioritising ourselves, then the people and projects we love will get that level of energy too

They may get 10% because that’s all you have to give - however, aren’t they worth 100%?

It isn’t just you who benefits from choosing you or prioritising you - it’s the people and projects you love too! 💯

Yes, the plan, the strategy, the logic, the route is important…

But in EQUAL amounts - so is the feeling of alignment with our goals, the inner knowing, the intuition 🙌🏼💫

August is here and it’s a gorgeous time to reflect on where you are and where you want to be…get curious about what your future self needs from you right now ✨🌸
