Do you want to win £50 for you and £500 for your school?
We need your help to ‘Save The Tywi’!’
In conjunction with .carmarthentc , Carmarthen BID and Carmarthen River Festival , we are asking school children to design a poster to help save our river, which is under threat from pollution, sewage and litter. The poster should include different aspects of river life, as well as the slogan ‘Save The Tywi.’
Download a poster template from our website, or pick up a copy at our stand at the River Festival or in Sero. Blank paper can also be used, but be sure to include on the back of your poster your name, name of your school and contact details of your parent or guardian so that we can contact the winner.
Completed posters can be dropped into Sero, where they will be displayed throughout the summer holidays until the competition closes on the 13/09/24

Diolch yn fawr iawn | Thank you very much 'Chapter 2 Home' for being part of the training evening at Carmarthen Chamber of Trade yesterday! Some tricks of the trade, question and answer session, and visuals on the night were really useful for the businesses who were present at the event. Leigh James you are a legend and we really appreciate your support greatly 👏👏👏
Carmarthen Chamber of Trade recently sponsored the '2024 Carmarthen Market Junior Traders' event hosted by Carmarthenshire Markets in St. Catherine's Walk / Rhodfa Santes Catrin.
Neil James, Chairman of Carmarthen Chamber of Trade and Justin John Vice-Chairman of Carmarthen Chamber of Trade attended the event and judged the local schools.
Justin John explained, "It was an absolute pleasure to be asked to help judge the Junior Market Traders event. All of the pupils were excellent and represented their schools extremely well. They'd put a lot of thought and time into their stalls and products and were very confident in asking passers by to part with their cash! It was excellent to see schools teaching business skills and I look forward to hopefully seeing some of these pupils with their own businesses in the future".
Diolch yn fawr iawn - Thank you very much to everyone that took part and organised this event! 👍😁👏📸
