Nirangal is a beautiful, and easy-to-follow touch-and-feel book introducing colours and animals to little people.

It was was selected for the Early Readers' project by the National Library Board of Singapore ! While these books are available in local libraries in singapore, we’re not quite there yet in the U.K.!! You can still get your own copy from us!

And here is our 2nd book for this year - என் முதல் 100 சொற்கள் (En Mudhal Nooru Sorkkal).

This lift-the-flap book introduces over a hundred everyday Tamil words in an engaging and entertaining way with a wide range of themes that children will easily recognise.
 
Combining bright, colourful images with simple first words, this book has everything you need to introduce children to new concepts and develop their vocabulary in Tamil ❤

The words that we have researched and selected for this book are in line with the recommendations and guidelines of early childhood agencies in Australia. 

The gorgeous illustrations are done by Navya Raju .illustration - thank you, Navya, once again for your wonderful work. This book came together at a really stressful time for me and I really appreciate that you hung in there together with me 🤗 

And a heartfelt thank you to Mdm. Kamala from Kumaresh Publications for proofreading the copy for this book. You guys have always been such a wonderful support ❤❤❤

Ok I cannot contain my excitement over the latest additions to the Vaaranam Books®] collection! Just when you think you have everything you need, the unstoppable Vanitha brings two new books to the scene! This beautifully written and illustrated book about welcoming a new sibling is one of two new books which we hope to be able to distribute to UK customers, available from December 2021!!! We’ll be putting up more details on our website in the coming days, so do register your interest and we can get them to you as soon as we can! 😍

Vaaranam Books®] 💕Cover Reveal💕

We are so excited to share with you the cover of our new book - இரண்டுமே பிடிக்கும் (Irandume Pidikkum).

This is a beautiful, comforting story for new elder siblings about a parent's ever-growing love.

Irandume Pidikkum is written by Abhi Krish from - Abhi is an incredibly talented writer and we have always admired her work.

When Abhi sent me the manuscript last year, I could relate to this story so much. Because as a parent, I faced similar challenges with my son when my daughter came along. His behaviour changed for the worst and he regressed in a few developmental areas. It was very frustrating for me and my husband but his behaviours were simply a child's way of dealing with emotions that come to surface with the arrival of a new sibling 💕

And once again, there are multiple books in English to help children cope with this experience but none in Tamil. So, I knew that I had to publish this book - a story that many children and parents would be able to relate to!

The beautiful illustrations are done by Anushka Shenoy who really understood the brief and brought the characters and emotions to life.

Thank you Abhi and Anushka for your wonderful work and it's lovely to see this book take shape over the past year and reach its final form ❤
