Today, I was deeply moved when I went to a client’s home to tune pianos. The client has two pianos: one is a grand piano, and the other is an upright piano with a silent function. Both pianos were purchased after the client moved to the UK.

The choice of these two pianos was to meet the needs of the client’s two daughters. Although we did not discuss the price of the pianos, I could feel the parents’ sentiments: they all want to give their beloved children the best and nurture them to success.

In conversation, I also learned that the mother often accompanies her daughters in practicing the piano. This kind of companionship and support undoubtedly has a profound impact on the children’s growth and musical talent.

A friend invited me to Tampa Florida for a piano tuning exchange.
This reminds me that I have been tuning pianos for over 20 years.

As I said before, the second-hand piano bought in the UK market,
it usually takes a lot of time and work to clean before being tuned.
But this month I tuned two sets second-hand pianos,
Surprisingly clean,
Both pianos in the picture are more than 30 years old
and in very good condition, and the prices are very reasonable.
I would like to share this with you all, take your time when looking for a second-hand piano,
don’t be impatient, there is a chance you will find the right one!
After tuning the baby grand,
I thought the sound it made sounded like a girl singing.
I play many songs before going home.

After piano is tuned, I was pleasantly surprised, customer gave me a home-made moon cake, with "Jesus loves you" written on the cake.

Another particular piano is the 1960s same series as used in the Beatles studios- Challen London EST Pianos

If don't help the customer clean and retune, they may throw it away , the world will have one more piece of trash

It took about 2+ hours of vacuuming and deep cleaning before tuning.

I have some free time this week,
Sharing some special pianos I have tuned in the past few months.

This piano more than 130 years- European piano- C Bechstein,
This is the second time I have tuned it and always remind myself to tune each string very carefully.
After tuning, the sound has classical feel, and the bass is softer than the Japanese piano.
