Chameleon Outdoors
Using outdoor learning to develop a better understanding of nature and the outdoors.
In turn, enhancing people's education, personal and social skills, health and well-being, leading to the development of well-rounded citizens.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Team Rollocks needs YOU!
Next Christmas, 2024, whilst the majority of us will be enjoying the delights of the festive season, I along with four other crew members of Team Rollocks on board Liberty will be rowing in the Worlds Toughest Row - Atlantic, over 3000 miles from La Gomera, in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean.
We have two aims for our rowing endeavour.
Firstly to raise awareness of our beneficiaries and the vital funds for them to continue the great work they do in supporting and developing positive mental wellness and secondly to challenge the time for the fastest row by a mixed crew.
Although there are a crew of five, three men and two women with three of us from Halifax actually rowing this epic journey; we want to expand the team and take as many people along with us as we can.
We are looking for individuals, groups or corporate organisations to come and partner us on the Worlds Toughest Row.
Please visit our website www.rollocks. co.uk and get in touch.
Here you will find all the details and benefits of becoming a partner.
This will enable Team Rollocks to get to the start line and raise funds and awareness of our beneficiaries on the global stage.
Do something positive and come on board!

All set up ready for a great day of learning in the sunshine ☀️👏
They’re back!
An absolute privilege to have been working with Really Wild in Northern Finland developing the arctic skills of the students from Ravens Wood School, Bromley.
A very cold week of enjoyable, high octane learning and adventure.
Developing awesomeness!
After a restful festive break; we’ve had a very productive planning meeting of what comes next!!!
Watch this space and we will release a presentation ASAP explaining the plan but it will involve expeditions like the Cockleshell exped which will be funded (means tested) for those who will most benefit from a healthy dose of adventure therapy and hanging out with us misfits for a few weeks 😄
The beginning of the new year always brings plenty of messages to our inbox asking for more details about the WILD Passport; what it is, how it works, how it fits in with existing outdoor learning approaches and who it's for.
Over the next few days I'll be posting some helpful information to help people answer those questions!
Chameleon Outdoors Weekly Roundup
Hi All
Mother Nature has literally thrown everything at us this week but it’s all about having the correct positive mindset to adapt and overcome.
That, we have done in bucket loads this week.
Chameleon Outdoors Weekly Roundup
Back to it this week after an extended period of absence due to my involvement in the successfully majestic Cockleshell 22 Expedition and a well earned rest over Christmas.
Many thanks to all of you who have followed Chameleon Outdoors throughout 2022 and we hope to have you on board for 2023.
Time and tides stop for no man.
Back breaking down barriers and giving young people the skills and confidence to aspire, achieve and inspire.
Helping others has been on the agenda this week and that includes the birds in and around Forest School.
Bird feeders and high energy bird food from the Feathery Kitchen!
After having the honour and privilege of being involved with Cockleshell 22 it’s now time to get back to it.
Working with Nurturing Creativity we have been providing action packed creative holiday provision with the fantastic students at Whitehill Community Academy and St. Malachy’s Catholic Primary School.
Great work all!
