So that’s the books closed for this years as far as repairs go 🤙
Going to be flat out between now and Christmas so if you need anything done and it can wait I’ll cya next year 😎

A long overdue refret on Joe Girvin’s McIlroy acoustic finished during the week

We went with EvoGold Jescar 47095 fret wire for something that will last longer and sound fuller that the previous soft wire.

Workshop is a little behind at the moment with a large influx of work but get in touch if you need anything done 🤙 booking is essential at the moment 😬

So after almost 2 months since I moved out of my previous premises, moved into a new one, loaded all the equipment into it and began brain storming about set up etc I finally made the decision to move all back to where I was this time 2/3 years ago.

I looked at possible expansion, larger premises, hiring/training people and all of the above. Then I realised that I am a one man shop and that’s how I want to keep it.

Do I see this as moving backwards? No way. This is just the next step in the journey and I can’t wait!

So I am officially taking in repairs again starting Monday! A few new points to highlight if you could please take into consideration.

1. This new/old premises is at my home and because of this I will not be having customers at the shop. Drop offs & collections will be done at Apex Music Centre

2. Due to Apex taking up a large part of my life (wouldn’t have it any other way), doing weekend work, having a life and, being back in a smaller workshop, there will less slots per month for repairs so get in fast! (This all depends on the size of jobs etc)

3. This new page will be used for all my repairs now so if you could avoid messaging the Apex Music Centre page for repairs that would be fantastic! If you happen to message the centre tho don’t worry but there isn’t any guarantee that I will actually see the message as it’s not just managed by me!

Apart from that, I’m glad to be back working on guitars! Lots to do so wish me luck!
