Masala Chai in the U.K. can have a bad wrap due to the chemical tastes of supermarket tea bags and powders. At Chai Ho, we set out with a mission to give natural and authentic chai to all.

Our instant masala chai uses high-grade whole spices from Jammu, India. We mix, roast and grind all of our spices by hand giving a richer, more authentic, and overall natural taste. Coupled with no preservatives, Chai Ho promises an experience with the authenticity of the chai walas of Old Delhi.

We made multiple iterations to our recipe, only using the most authentic whole spices directly sourced from small towns in India to support their local produce. For the most natural earthy notes of cinnamon in our tea, we decided to use Dal Chini (Cassia Bark) - specially roasted and blended to add a distinct flavour to our chai.

Cassia is a dark brown tree bark, it is solid, thicker and darker than cinnamon. Although, it has some similar flavour notes to cinnamon - cassia bark boasts its own distinct musky aromatic experience which is stronger and sweeter tasting than cinnamon.

Chai Ho contains no artificial ingredients, preservatives or flavourings.

All of our chais are made with 100% whole and natural ingredients; no artificial powders, definitely no premixes and absolutely no preservatives. It’s what gives Chai Ho its natural taste 😋
