Synchronised Swimming society is a fun and relaxed environment that gives university students the chance to continue synchronised swimming training past the age of 18 or start the sport from the beginning.

You don’t have to have done synchro before, and you will be given all the guidance you need from the rest of the committee 💕

We’re very excited to announce that we’re putting in an order for some synchro merch! 🏊♀️
We’ve got a 1/4 zip sweatshirt, t-shirt and joggers available now on LUU Engage.
If you want to get a piece please order by 16th November so we can get it before Christmas! ‼️
After purchasing just send a member of the committee your sizes/initials and we’ll add you all to the spreadsheet for the order.
We also have swimming caps which are currently being made so no need to order before a specific date on those.

We are very excited to announce our give it a go for this year!
It’s our first GIAG as a society so we can’t wait to show you what we have in store:)
Try out synchro before buying a membership!
On Monday 3rd October we have a pool session at The Edge from 5-6pm
🎟️ Please get a free ticket for this as we have limited space
🥽Bring a swimming costume, goggles and swimming cap if you have one
🏊 The only requirement is that you can swim 50m in front and backstroke!
Afterwards at 6:30pm we have land training in LUU Sky Studio
🤸We will be doing synchro land training and a Q&A about the society and sport
No need to book this, just turn up!
Our Give it a Go is open to all students from universities in Leeds and we want to ensure you that all levels of experience are welcome! This event is also open to all years, not just freshers ☺️

Hi I’m Lucy and secretary again this year! We are very excited for the upcoming year to finally begin training and hopefully gain some new members. I have 8+ years of experience with synchro, having competed competitively since I was 11 and completed all 5 grades. I can’t wait to get back in the water and provide other students with a place to carry on this sport!

I have always retained my passion for the sport and am so excited to be apart of this society. Hello everyone 👋
I’m Amy and I’m back again as the president of synchronised swimming this year. I’m very excited to start training as last year we were more focused on setting up. I can’t wait to welcome more members into the society ☺️
A little bit about myself, I’ve been doing synchronised swimming since I was 14 and it’s one of my biggest passions. I’ve never been sporty but for synchro I can definitely make an exception. I want to make sure that students can take part and I recommend it to everyone, it’s such a fun sport! I am also a coach so you may see me this year in both the water and on poolside.
