A nice fence to finish off the other week.

This fence does two things -
🟢great kerb appeal,
🟢keeps the grandchild in.

Keep an eye out for the couple of gates to follow on this job.

We just managed to get this one across the line before the rain started.

This one had lots to it, multiple Indian stone patios to enjoy both the morning coffee and the evening entertainment in the sun.

A large L-shaped oak sleeper planter surrounded with a redwood lath screen fence.
Perfect for creating privacy and support to the climbing plants.

A set of concrete steps providing sensible and safe access to the lower section of the garden.

Are you in need of a garden shed.
We build from scratch, in the workshop then bring and install.
This is the second structure we have created for our client in Ilkley and he’s over the moon.

One of our most recent garden rooms,

It’s fully insulated, it’s got a concrete base and all the timber work is raised one a course of bricks.
This one’s going to be usable all year round and last a lifetime.

A nice local indian sandstone patio, with two insert lids making for many interesting cuts.

Just some fresh gravel to add between the paving and the property to finish of this new tidy area

Here’s one of the smaller jobs we like to squeeze into our busy diary.
Fence replacement
Took down old fence and recycled the timber
Installed concrete slotted posts, concrete gravel boards and timber feather edged panels.
The advantage to concrete post is they should last 5x longer than a timber post and fence panels don’t come in contact with the soil this helps prevent rotting.

Here a nice little Friday job in Tollerton.
Take down and recycle old fence.
Supply and install concrete posts, gravel boards and horizontal, diamond trellis.
Benefit to the concrete posts is they don’t rot off. And with the wooded panels been out of the soil they last many extra years.

One from a few months back, giving this front entrance a much needed new look.

Now it’s in keeping with the back garden we transformed last year.
Check out our previous posts to see what a transformation the rear garden was.

Well this job certainly covered a lot of areas, fencing, paving, decking, turfing and paths.
We are really pleased with the huge transformation of this garden, creating multiple areas to enjoy.
We particularly enjoyed the array of materials used including the porcelain paving and the Mill board decking.

Nice little fencing job to start the short week off in Stockton.
Concrete posts, gravel boards and wooden feather edged panels.

As you can see this newly built breakfast room needed grand entrance and outdoor seating area. For those warm sunny morning to drink tea and eat honey and listen to the morning song birds.
The Indian sandstone circle helps to soften the squareness of the other paving.
The Finnished paving height is slightly lower that the grass to allow for easy mowing.
As you can do in the photos some of the paving is wet this is to give you an idea on the beautiful colour that stand out when the paving is wet and dry.
All the paving joints are pointed with a sand and cement mix with helps the paving subsiding.
The sandstone flows round the house and meets with a small blocked paved area which will house the bins.

The work was carried out in the Sowerby area.

Here we have a garden make over job.
Installed soft wood sleepers to create 3 new tiered areas. Fake grass was laid and joints glued. A board again st the fence has been created with 40mm plumb slate, top tier has a half round slate B,Q area. And a curvy step up.

Middle tier consists of raised planter rounds the cherry tree to hide the exposed roots.
There is also a log path the weaves it way across the new lawn.
The path is edged with tree branches. Tree trunk has been cut into 2” thick slab and I’ve filled in the gaps with plumb slate.

Bottom tier will house a wooden lean to eventually
