Hypopressives with Vanessa
Hypopressives is a technique that lifts and strengthens the whole core including the pelvic floor.
Tonight's class involves stretching across the hip and pelvic floor, plus rotation for the back and all with our Hypopressives breathing.
Back tonight 5.30pm on zoom working on breathing with internal and external hip rotation. Working on the pelvic floor and the back and core.
Thankyou to those that joined me for tonight's. 5.30pm zoom class. Even from the garden. Lots of variations on spirals for lower back with breathing incorporated. Todays planing was done in the sunshine but for video and tonight's class i will be indoors. Feel freeto join me from the garden at 5.30pm.
Tonights zoom class we will be usuing a towel. for extra mobility in backs.

Gosh! it felt so good to get back to a full flow in class tonight. I hadn't completely stopped over Easter but neither had I done a full class. We concentrated on back strength with Hypopressive breathing tonight, because the back and abdominals work together to support the abdominal corset and the pelvic floor
Back to a 'normal' routine this week. I had a lovely time with my new Thursday morning pelvic health group. And today I will be on my mat at 5.30pm who's joining me on zoom?
The new course for this term - 4 weeks starting Thursday 18th April at 10am is definitely going ahead. I have ladies signed up and paid. :) Stiil 2 spaces left. Or Saturday option 11.55 - 12.40 may run if there are a few interested let me know if you want to take advantage of this terms unique course all about the pelvic floor and how it affects so many issues, inc lower back pain.
If I haven't emailed you yet on the next courses April 2024. I am hoping to do Thursday mornings as this seem a popular choice, and maybe also either a Saturday morning or Friday early afternoon. contact me if you need more information.

New course on pelvic floor health - encompasses understanding the anatomy, the ways to improve the inner core, the pelvic floor, low back strength using posture, mobility and breathing. I need to confirm times days depending on what suits enough people. for example 11am Wednesday mornings? contact me and I can see if i can sort a new group of ladies.

On my WhatsApp hypopressive private group is a video link to a 20min video, distilled from 3hrs of learning the anatomy of the jaw and its relation to the pelvic floor. on a 6 week pelvic floor course with Tom Waldron - Move I am hoping it will help those who suffer like me, with clicky jaw and locked teeth overnight, to release tension. Note;- it has helped me so far, not waking up in pain with lockjaw!
During tonights Hypopressives class we used the ball and the band to add extra strength and tension within our apneas. If anybody is interested in learning the technique i have been asked by a couple of people to do another 4 week course on pelvic floor strength, release and abdominal and lower back mobility.

Fridays class was working on using a chair as a prop, inner thigh attachments to the pelvic floor back, plus stretches and strength.
Tonight's class will be using a chair as a prop. Standing seated kneeling and lying. Plus a towel for some Franklin Method pelvic sit ups and back release. Zoom 5.30pm
Sometimes I tie myself into complete knots looking to stretch out the body :) But always with focussed breathing and visualisation of the pelvic floor action.

Looking forward to getting back to a regular zoom class as from tomorrow. Fridays live at 5.30pm on zoom, or the video only option, to get those bodies moving. For those who have learnt the technique to continue the practice with extra poses, stretches for the lower back and pelvic area.
