🔥 We were called out to a routine service where the customer was complaining of a low rumbling noise from the boiler. Upon inspection we determined that the boiler was reading extremely high co2 readings during low burn which indicated a fault with the air gas mixture. We changed out the Gas valve, venturi and injector and carried out a full strip down service, removing the burner and cleaning and completely flushing the heat exchanger through the sump to take this boiler back up to a brand new standard again. All seals replaced and rebuilt to get all the required combustion readings through the analyser. Another boiler brought back to life by P Booth Plumbing And Heating LTD 🔥🔥

🔥🔥 out to a routine service in Inverurie, upon arrival I noticed the pressure was too high in the boiler, expansion vessel burst and leaking internally and the pressure relief valve wasn't operating.. which in conjuction could have caused a serious failure. We collected a replacement expansion vessel and pressure relief valve and swapped them out to solve the issue. A good burner clean and full service saw this 10 year old appliance back to good as new running at 98.3% net efficiency and looking amazing. Testament to what can be achieved by having your boiler serviced annually by a local, trusted company🔥🔥

After a weekend of disasters with the company phones I gave Hastie repairs a call to assess and repair them. He managed to book me in the following day and carry out a series of work on the handsets. The work he carried out was done in a very short time frame, to a very high standard and to a reasonable price as well. I will use hastie repairs for all my tech repairs moving forward, I couldn't recommend him enough.

🔥🔥Finally after getting half a chance to sit down I've been able to get some pictures of my own bathroom recently completed 😍 complete refurbishment all pipework and drains completely renewed to outside and the finish speaks for itself 🔥🔥

🔥 The importance of having your gas safe appliances checked be a competently trained gas safe operative... This customer here came to us with reports of his boiler not operating correctly. Upon our arrival we immediately noticed that previous works that had been carried out on the boiler hadn't be carried out correctly. I'm sure the images speak for themselves. As you can see in the image of our apprentice Connor holding the boiler cover, there is alot of evidence of incomplete combustion. These products were escaping from a poorly installed combustion chamber cover. This has then spread onto the walls surrounding the boiler. Scorch marks on the side wall where the electrical connections were posed a serious risk to the appliance and property. At this point the installation was classified as immediately dangerous and the gas supply terminated. A warning notice was issued detailing the faults and the customer requested we replaced the boiler in question which was carried out by Stewart and Connor. Carbon monoxide alarms were installed upon completion as there weren't any within required vicinity of the boiler. 🔥

With this now being in place and the workforce having now doubled, it has allowed us to open up more dates in our jam packed diary to new and existing clients.

🔥🔥 We haven't done much posting in a while due to the fact we're completely inundated at the moment, however we felt this one deserved a mention. Our client asked us to provide them with an En-suite shower room in the master bedroom, knocking through into bedroom 2 to provide the space required to achieve this. We started off by opening up the doorway in the desired position, cutting out the lathe and plaster. We then built the frame in which was going to house the new En-Suite. Next we got the big rig in to water core a 5" hole through the granite blocks in order to run in drainage supplies from the external cast iron drain stack. Once we had done all that we roughed in all the necessary pipework from the central heating supplies and run hot and cold supplies back from the pressurised hot water cylinder to provide a great pressure for what was to be, the new shower. We run 4" pipework in along the attic space for an inline fan and installed a slate piece in the slate roof to allow for termination. Nial made a fantastic job of matching in the new facings in skirtings with the old ones having to hand craft them to suit. All in all the pictures speak for themselves and its another fantastic effort from everyone involved. 👏 🔥🔥

🔥🔥 The boys and I were busy working up in Nairn and Dingwall last week, in one of our local Inverurie customers' other properties. We looked at installing a toilet and wash hand basin into an existing bedroom and the results speak for themselves. To allow this to happen we had to run a new 4" drain externally underground from the main manhole and backfill. To prevent impeding on the bedroom space we knocked down the cupboard partition in order to build a thicker frame to suit a pocket door system. We utilised the cupboard space and were able to comfortably fit both a toilet and Wash hand basin. The pictures speak for themselves, the end result was fantastic. Whilst we were there we moved the hot water cylinder to a different location to buy back a cupboard in the bedroom, we extended the door frame and cut down the door to suit the existing doors and floored the area. We also fitted all new radiators within the property and upgraded the fuse board and smoke alarm system to comply with current standards 🔥🔥 Great effort from everyone again.

🔥Even Elon knows where to go when he needs the right lads for the job, several jobs completed today at Tesla, water feeds installed for cold water vending machines amongst various other things. Very impressive place.🔥

🔥🔥Another job completed this week, 3 boilers in one week, safe to say its been busy 😯 our customer had an old fan flued system boiler and pressurised cylinder which were both corroded through, they opted to go down the route of a combi boiler and were not disappointed. A cupboard gained by removing the tank and more efficient system with now being a condensing boiler. This job was turned around by myself and two colleagues in one day which meant our customer was only without heating and hot water for a short time. All fittings used are mapress to ensure the highest standard finish. Halo system also fitted for heating control 🔥🔥

🔥🔥 Well its that time of year again.. We are now closed for business until the 10th of January 2022. Its been another strange year, but its been a fantastic year working with all of our customers existing and new. Some amazing projects completed, we've met some wonderful people and built some fantastic partnerships. We would just like to take this opportunity to thank each and every customer we have worked with this year for their continued support, what we do wouldn't be possible without you. We would also like to wish all of our customers and our supplier a very merry Christmas and a happy new year when it comes.

Another fantastic week's work in, we ripped out this bathroom in Ellon and knocked down the partition wall in to the adjacent bedroom allowing us to build a new frame gaining extra space in the bathroom to move things around a little, we built a new partition in the bedroom and incorporated a new built in wardrobe at the same time ✅ we removed the old open vented heat only boiler and open vented cylinder and run in some new pipework up the wall void in order to fit a new pressurised combi boiler in the loft giving the customer back a cupboard in the kitchen ✅ we also replaced all the radiators in the house due to corrosion damage and all in one week 👌 A great effort from the team yet again and another fantastic outcome. Now it's time for the decorators.

All of this work completely turned around in one week 🔥🔥

🔥🔥 Another of our installations, our customer had a boiler installed by another local company which failed within 6 years with a burst heat exchanger. It was sited up in the loft with inadequate access or clearances and there were also several dead legs of pipework so we opted to fit the new boiler in the garage and run new pipework to it to solve the issue and create a fresh start. We fitted this Ideal Vogue boiler complete with magnetic filter and Halo smart thermostat, allowing him to control his heating away from home and reminding him of when his services were due👌 Completely piped in copper and all fittings being mapress ensured that the highest quality of finish was left. Superb effort from the team again 🔥🔥

🔥🔥 What a transformation, this bathroom we have just fitted has been completely re-designed in order to move the sanitary ware around to suit the shape of the room. Before all this was done the toilet and wash hand basin were awkward to use due to the angle of the roof and the bath was fitted in to opposite end of the room which has allowed us to now utilise the space to make a walk in wardrobe. A wee shelf made around the bath to pull it out from the angle a bit has nicely doubled up as a wine holder 🤷‍♂️ Just waiting on the plasterer and decorator now so that the joiner can finish off his shelving within the walk in area 😍. Again a fantastic effort from everyone involved, setting standards again. Full bathroom supplied and fitted.🔥🔥

🔥🔥 Two jobs running in sync this week, some of the lads on the bathroom and the rest on this heating system installation. The property in question didn't have any heating whatsoever so we got started in fitting Central heating into the property. Unfortunately the external walls were brick so the pipework had to be run on the surface. Once we had run the pipework in and got everything filled and ready the gas board came and fitted the meter externally ready for us to make the final connection. A few finishing touches to add but thats it just about there. 🔥🔥
