When I had covid in 2021. I was in the High Dependancy Ward, no visitors allowed, on my own, scared, fighting a battle with this virus that was killing people. 18 weeks pregnant, day 5, cpap mask on, covid was fighting me, I had now got pneumonia at this point aswell. I was told I would be taken down ICU within 2 hours if i didnt improve. I can remember the only thing I thought & was petrified of, wasn't me and that they were thinking of moving me to be shutting off my body to try & help fight this, but my unborn baby. My baby that I only ever knew I had for 18 weeks, my baby that I had never met - only on scans, that I never touched or felt - only his little flutters, but this was my baby and I knew I loved more than anything in the world from the second I saw that blue line, & that was the moment everything changed & I realised this was what motherhood was. Your whole life changes & your babies are the centre of every thought, worry, decision you'll then ever make for the rest of your life and who you think about first even if your own life is on the line. One of the very brave Doctors said to me, I had too keep fighting, to keep on going because it wasnt just me now & she said to me...

"Whenever you feel discouraged & feel like it's time too give up. Just remember you are the universe to a tiny little human that you have made from scratch - its time to keep going" 💕🌍

I just wanted too share that with you all, because it's such a strong & meanful saying, which I think we should all hear when times are hard or even when they are really really good xx

Last week I was given the heartbreaking news that one of my clients passed away. I took Ewin on as a client around 4 years ago & from bottom of my heart he was the most inspiring young person I have and probably will ever meet⭐️ with the most amazing smile and his soul was full of nothing but love, and his family - are the most caring, loving, incredible people you would ever come across. Ewin was a brave soldier & its broken my heart too know he has now grown his beautiful wings at 20 years young 💙

I've just gone past the 4 year milestone of starting my Buisness, where I have had 4 wonderful years of taking on board all of my amazing little clients & cutting their hair 😊✂️❤

And tonight was the night I finally cut my own babies hair 🥰😭 it was only a little trim (I haven't plucked up the courage yet for anything more 😂) but made me really understand even more now, how special first haircuts are!🥰✂️

Just posting for abit of help if possible.
You may have heard or seen the news, that sadly my cousins sister has had a house fire, which has left them & their two children, a 3 year old girl and a 9 year old boy without anything, no clothes, no toys, everything unfortunately has been destroyed in the fire.

I am just seeing if anyone has any spare clothes, shoes or toys that you would be happy to donate to them. So they are now looking for...
Girls (winter) clothes 4-5 years, shoe size 7-8
Boys (winter) clothes 10-11 years
Ladies winter clothes size 18, or size 7 flat shoes (sliders or slippers)
Mens winter clothes Large, joggers, tshirts hoodies.

They do have a go fund me page if you can afford to spare a few pounds, where you'll find in this article which I will copy into this post. Anything no matter how small if you have & can afford to donate would be more than appreciated to to family who are now in desperate need.

I am more than happy to come and collect anything you kindly would be happy to donate, so if you can afford to spare anything then please do let me know.

Hi everyone, I hope you are well ❤ A post I know alot of you have been waiting for, so I am happy to announce that I will be returning to work on Saturday 8th October 📅✂️
Until January, I will only be working Saturdays. This is due to childcare & that Jaylen will only be 4 months old when I return.

Because of this, I have made the difficult decision to only continue with my clients in Gloucester. This is down to the fact that I will only be working one day when I return, and to carry on with as many clients as I can, I have to cut my travel time, which many of you know I used to travel around 3 hours a day. As you can appreciate this is alot of time where I can be spending with clients. This has been a very hard decision as I have spent the last 3 years building up my client base & I am very upset to be losing you, but unfortunately seeing how quickly Jaylen has grown already, I want more than anything to watch him grow and I can't do this by working what I was (most weeks were 6 days to accommodate my clients). Therefore I have no other choice than to cut my travel time and to work locally. For this I am deeply sorry, I would like to thank you all and I hope that I have helped build confidence in your children for the future when having their haircuts x

I am now taking bookings up until end of December. Please see below the dates I will ne working, including a few extra days. Then in January I will start a evening/maybe 2 during the week to accommodate those who can't do Saturdays.

National Day of Reflection 🤍

Today two years ago on 23 March 2020, we went into our first Lockdown because of Covid-19. Let's take time today to reflect and connect with people. These last 2 years have been the hardest years of millions of people's life's and who are still struggling with what has happened and who are still coming to terms with their circumstances now.

A time to take a moment and thank all the NHS superheros who have saved the life's of so many, who have risked their own life's on a daily basis and who still are, & who were there with our loved ones right until the end when we couldn't be 🤍

Today let's remember and support the millions of people who are grieving, and remembering the family, friends, collegues and loved ones we've lost over the last two years.

Ollie's First Haircut 💇‍♂️✂️💙

This is Deno, one of my little clients 💇‍♂️💙

I have been going too Deno now for around a year, on and off due to being in lockdown for 4 months.

The first time I met Deno, his lovely Mum told me he has struggled alot with haircuts, he was scared, upset and would cry - which resulted in his Dad cutting his hair at their home. The first few times I met Deno, he was nervous and scared and would only let me cut his hair with scissors, with alot of encouragement. He was very scared of the clippers and wouldnt let me use the trimmers.

But then we started to build trust... and this resulted in Deno allowing me to use the trimmers, and then progressed even more into using the clippers. Now Deno has his haircut everytime with clippers and trimmers without any fear - he is amazing!

With patience, encouragement and routine... Deno, I think youd agree, could not be anymore relaxed, and today we even used the trimmers on his head to complete his cool summer look with lines ✂️❤

Another big boy hair cut for this one, Dexter loves Jodie coming to cut his hair, she is patient and makes such a good job of all my boys hair. 🥰

My little legend is terrified of having his hair cut, but he was an absolute star this week when he had his hair trimmed by Jodie at Bespoke Barbering. She was incredibly patient with him and built a real bond. If you are in the Gloucester area and have a little one who struggles with having their hair cut, I'd highly recommend her!
