Been a bit quiet lately as lots going on. lots of work to try and sort out water coming through my roof and that's led to needing a whole new kitchen. My art studio is stacked to the rafters with all my belongings from downstairs so painting has taken a back seat for a couple of months. So instead I thought I would revisit some earlier works. Here's one that is still available to kick off Summer.

Remember to make someone feel good today.
Whoa...just found out my websites been malfunctioning. Anyone who has sent for a print and received the wrong one, my appologies. Let me know which one you wanted and I will sort the problem out. Some how the links to each print order form got mixed up. Even the website tech people are scratching their heads about how it happened but I have sorted the links today so going forward things should be fine now.

So my very lovely friend Racheal gifted me a resin workshop at xmas. I went along for the session a couple of weeks ago with Sophie from Unusual Girl Art https://www.unusualgirlart.com/resin-workshops
I had a grand time and Sophie helped me design and make an acrylic panel for my bathroom and a small coaster/soap hold into which I enbeded some seashells I had already paint poured. That turned out so nice I think it might not be used for just holding soap. With the bit of left over acrylic I poured a coaster mould but needing a number for my front door I used some of the remaining shells to make a number plate for my front door.
If you want to try this out for yourself contact Sophie, she holds workshops, 121's and also holds bespoke events such as hen parties. she does small stuff upto house hold stuff like tables. I am defenately going to do more of this at some point.

Today I have made it back to my house after some building work. No kitchen yet so camping it in the space I have waiting for the new one. This means not yet got round to working on my new collection...anyway here's something I resonate with...how about you?

Found out these original artworks I entered for an exhibition have ALL been accepted for a charity exhibition to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee! They are to be auctioned off after the event and a portion (40%) of the proceeds will go to raise funds for an animal charity in south Wales.

Whoo hoo, this work has been selected for the Lucuna Festivals International contempory Art festival: Clash 2022!
The festival runs from 2nd July -31st July 2022.
This work is inspired by listening to a person talk about how having the condition synaesthesia causes visual images when music is played. the man talked about seeing colours and geometric shapes. This is my interpretation of the sounds made by cymbals being struck.
