One More Second Chance

Maybe feeling low -

Play the waiting game, play the waiting game.

Feeling spirits go -

Play the waiting game, you are not to blame.

We can try to be kind,

Try to plan, not fly blind

But still things fall away.

But though the world can make us

No it cannot break us.

Some things save the day -

What about love, what about light

What about all those days gone by?

What would we miss, who would we kiss

If we would choose to say goodbye?

‘Cause we have so much more to see

And we have so much more to be -

The world weighs a ton, at least on first glance,

But give things one more second chance.

The world is still turning

‘Cause we learn to say darkness goes away.

But when the world is burning

When it’s hard today, try so hard to say -

What about love, what about light

What about all those days gone by?

What would we miss, who would we kiss

If we would choose to say goodbye?

Take my hand,

We’ll work it out,

Through it all you’re not alone.

Humankind

Can be kind,

And if you don’t believe it, I ask you then -

What about love, what about light

What about all those days gone by?

What would we miss, who would we kiss

If we would choose to say goodbye?

‘Cause we have so much more to see

And we have so much more to be -

The world weighs a ton, at least on first glance,

But give things one more second chance.

What you could do,

What we could be -

Just give things one more second chance.

As part of our Hard Rock Cafe Oxford Street at Hard Rock Hotel London has a series of events taking placing from 25-27 June:

Friday 25th June at 8PM we will have The Bad Day on the main stage. Having received airplay on BBC Radio2 over the past couple of years, the band’s unique mix of classic blues, entwined bass, lead vocals, and dirty guitar really make them a must see act.

Saturday 26th of June at 8PM will be Joe Slater and his band. With his perfect blend of rock, blues and soul vocals, Joe really makes you ‘feel the music’ as he will perform the biggest hits through the decades from energetic sing-along songs, to anthemic ballads.
And we round up the weekend we will have ‘West End Sundays’ on Sunday the 27th of June from 6PM. Be entertained by real West End actors singing your favourite show tunes alongside chart topping hits. Each Sunday will bring a new cast and different songs, a must for any musical theatre fan.

To see these great acts, simply book a table for the date(s) and time at: https://www.hardrockcafe.com/location/oxford/
