Alan,76, is one of our local class members. He completed a 5k parkrun on Saturday coming first in his age group. He was accompanied by 2 daughters and 5 grand children + girlfriend and raised loads of money for Macmillan. Well done to Alan !
As the weather improves enjoy the benefits of being outside.
We hear all about the bad effects of sunshine but rarely the benefits. Try and spend sometime outdoors and let us know if you feel better for it.
Exercise has so many health benefits they are too many to list in this post!
If you want to be strong, healthy, mobile and independent guidelines suggest at least 30 minutes of exercise 5 times every week.
