Anyone involved in hiring new staff has completed safe recruitment training and both Sally and Dawn have completed safeguarding training at a management level.

They thought that was good but could they do more? This year they looked at the physical risks to their clients with chronic, longterm, life limiting or immuno suppressing conditions too.

To that end they are actively encouraging all staff to have a flu jab and are providing letters to highlight the risks which allow their GP practices to administer the injections.

The safety of their clients is paramount to them and they’ll continue to monitor and review everything they do to keep them as safe as possible
