You may have seen Kirsty working on the door at many of our past events whether that was DirtyFilthySexy Batronic or Dark Waters Alternative Festival.

Unfortunately after a very short battle with cancer she sadly passed away 08-08-2024 leaving us and her family devastated.

So....we hoped to call upon the generosity of our patrons to help her family out with the funeral expenses. We know times are tough for everyone right but every penny will help give Kirsty the send off she and her family deserves.

To all the market vendors, DJs, Drag performers bands, and musicians, we want to say a HUGE thank you for your exceptional contributions to a successful and well-received celebration! All your enthusiasm was contagious, and we believe that the great energy and liveliness you all brought to the event added to everyone’s shared magical experience.

Big shout out to our venues and and to their team of incredible staff for allowing us to host our Q***r Takeover plus all those who worked so hard behind the scenes, security, our door staff and photographers.

Each and everyone of you helped to make what many have called one of the best DirtyFilthySexy to date!

Given what our community continues to still face today, discrimination, hatred, oppression, and violence here in the UK and around the world, we found a community that wanted to be together more than ever. This desire to share in Pride fueled a day that has become more necessary than ever. It is important that we all not just a month or just a day!

And finally we wanted to once again thank you for your support of the event, whether you were a seasoned DirtyFilthySexy attendee or you attended for the first time. We hope that even after 16 years we continue to be a valuable contribution to the Nottingham Q***r community in your eyes and will be for many years to come!

It's time we introduce you to some more DJs for our Notts Pride q***r takeover and afterparty at and upstairs in . From 9pm onwards you can expect our usual eclectic mix of music styles from our DJs.

Joining Resident DJ will be Dew2 & Stu from Bristol's own q***r alternative plus the return of Pride favourite guest The Honey Effect and kicking the night off upstairs will be DJ Noshimov.

Across both floors, you can expect to hear everything from alternative anthems to wonky pop. Electro to indie, 80s to grunge, nu metal to 90s dance and absolutely everything in between.

We're looking for q***r makers and artists to sell their Q***riosities, Art and More.

We believe that during Pride we need to be supporting smaller LGBTQ+ creatives and businesses not the rainbow washing, pink pound grabbing corporate companies.

We're excited for our q***r takeover of and for this year's and we're proud to show you the cast for our annual afterparty featuring residents, extended members of the coven and special guests.

Featuring Punk-horror-drag powerhouse Baby Lame, .lame is hot off the Circus of Horrors UK tour earlier this year, you can expect their unique brand of twisted comedy.

Next up we have Bristol's very own Cosplaying, AfroFuturist Drag King, Manly Mannington. continues to advocate for Black and POC drag performers, so keep an eye out for what he has planned next.

From Sheffield, it's , a 4000 year old friendly neighbourhood Cryptid. He’s a gender non-conforming nightmare with a love of creative chaos blending performance art and drag with some of his favourite horror references.

DirtyFilthySexy resident is the chaotic, carnival creature from your favourite worst nightmares👻 Oozing with spooky glamour and punk clownery, they're a doll by day and a demon by night😈 Are you ready to paint Notts red ?🔪🩸

Our DirtyFilthySexy resident animosity will be performing for you. Animosity enjoys the spooky and creepy side of things that make you wonder what the hell you're watching. Their inspirations come from a mixture of 80's emo/goth, Gaga, hyperpop & PC Music.

Lastly, we have a Some breaking news : 

Local Woman enters pride line up.
This Nottingham based non-binary queen sits at the intersection of bimbo, spooky, and camp. Think Paris Hilton, meets Pete Burns, meets “auntie sue’s had one too many wines”.  Expect the weird and wonderful from .woman.queen

We've been super eager to let you all know about our plans for our 16th birthday and this year's celebrations.

We can now spill the tea and announce that we're taking over the whole of and for a full day of partying. With 14 hours of q***r DJs, live music, drag performances and much much more over multiple floors.

We're passionate about sticking to our roots as a grassroots DIY event that is for the q***r scene, not just to make money. We will be bringing you our legendarily eclectic mix of alt music and performances throughout the day and night as we celebrate the whole vibrant q***r community.

Over the coming weeks we will begin announcing all the different elements of this collaborative event with a couple of extra surprises for you too!
