We are delighted to have secured planning consent to convert this existing Grade ll listed barn into two semi detached dwellings in Halifax. Constructed circa late 1800’s the barn is constructed of regular courses of narrow, shaped and rock-faced blocks of millstone grit with ashlar dressings of chamfered blocks decorated with incised lines to form borders of tooled stone round panels of delicately pecked stone resulting in a beautifully crafted exterior. The conversion will see the preservation of the building for future generations. We are looking forward to seeing works commence and this exceptional building restored.

We have successfully gained planning consent via Kirklees Planning department for an additional storey to a traditional bungalow located in the Greenbelt. The additional storey adds approximately 90% floor area and takes full advantage of the private views down into the substantial garden. The new first floor will be of timber frame construction and will receive a larch timber clad finish, which over time will silver and allow the property to sit harmoniously within its partial woodland setting.
Our barn conversion and extension project in Cornwall is nearing completion! Utilising 2 derelict barns, the project sees the conversion of both the north and south barns and the addition of a link extension to form a bespoke dwelling. The zinc standing seam roof complements the Cornish granite walling resulting in a contemporary twist on a traditional build.

Delighted to have secured planning consent for this circa 4000sqft Agricultural workers dwelling in the heart of the Greenbelt. Providing accommodation over two levels with panoramic views across the valley from the glazed projecting gable. The new dwelling will sit adjacent the Grade ll listed farmhouse and Grade ll* cruck frame barn and is to be constructed of traditional reclaimed materials to ensure it compliments and enhances the existing listed buildings.
Delighted to see this modern annex forming accommodation complete. Working with a modest 6m x 6m external area and a 5m ridge height it’s not size that matters it’s how the space is utilised. With some creative design and space planning this stunning new build addition provides a warm welcoming yet contemporary feel. Working closely with our fantastic client this project has been an absolute pleasure to be involved in.
After almost 12 months of negotiations with Kirklees planning department we have finally secured planning consent by unanimous decision at todays planning sub-committee for 3 new build detached dwellings in Holmfirth. Expertly assisted over the line by Nick Willock our planning consultant.
