Six reasons why your website isn’t getting any enquiries...

If your website is designed properly and professionally and there is a marketing plan in place, you should get enquiries through your website. This may still take time though, so don’t overlook the simple things you can do to help get those enquiries in quicker and more consistently. Hello! I thought I’d reintroduce myself here.

I’ve been quiet on social media recently, mainly because I’ve had the privilege to be busily working with some fantastic business owners on their websites, logos, and marketing materials, and being a sole trader there’s only one of me.

I’m Louise Maggs from Louise Maggs Design and I help business owners by designing and producing professional websites, logos and artwork.

Basically, if you’re a business owner that is serious about their business and you understand the need for a professional website to use as a valuable marketing tool to gain customers, then I can help you.

It was a long day involving 6 different outfits and 11 different mini locations. Such a fantastic experience - I'm still buzzing from it now.

I always tell my clients how important having a Google Business Profile is for your business, plus I use it all the time for mine, so I thought I should do the official course! 🤣

This certificate says Google My Business, but Google have recently rebranded its name to Google Business Profile.

Last week was . It’s the second year I’ve been able to take part in due to it going digital. It’s a fantastic event where put on all types of free training for all of their products. Well-respected designers go through their tips and tricks, and there are levels for everyone; beginner to advanced. It’s really easy to book your courses and watch them on catch up, and Adobe provides great downloads and resources to accompany their workshops.

Continual training is so important to keep abreast of trends, but I wonder — if I was still in the corporate world, whether I would have been able to take time (without feeling guilty) to take advantage of this learning opportunity. I’m grateful to be able to be my own boss, and for the second year running, I’ve been able to benefit. I always learn something new in this ever-changing world of graphic design, and I love it more than ever.
