Another EVEC charge point fitted this morning in Huntington. These VEC01 charge points are growing on me!

Not my usual charge point install but when a customer specifically asked for an EVEC VEC01 charge point then that is what they got!
The VEC01 is a smart looking charge point and with a price tag of around £350 its considerably cheaper than the other brands I fit. This install was earlier on in the year and I have fitted several more since with no complaints!
Nice bit of feedback received today following a DNO cut out upgrade 😎:
"The guys fitted the new fuse yesterday.
Just to let you know that they commented on the high quality of the installation.
Said they regularly see some really poor jobs - and this wasn’t one of them!"
Unfortunately it seems quite common these to be out priced by installers, only to receive a poor quality install. I've seen so many pictures of sub standard EV installation work, not just by small companies but by big names too!

This Ohme Home Pro wasn't the customers first choice of charge point however it was the best choice to save money due to the integration with his Octopus Energy tariff.
