What happens when I have a day off, apart from deep cleaning the trailer and restocking I try to visit other awesome Coffee Shops.

I was very excited to finally have the time to visit Fran at The Wobbly Spout Coffee & Bar located on entrance to Hinckley Train Station.

If you are passing or live near this is the best place for a coffee stop. With locally sourced cakes and roasted coffee St Martin's Coffee Roasters. Fran opens 7am until 13:30 Monday to Fridays.

Scruffythomas Karen Blair Friends of Knighton Park

Home from Cornwall so I’ll see you all on the park tomorrow.

Lovely weeks break, surfing, walking, eating, laughter and a couple of beers. Lots of dog walks on the beach followed by local fresh fish meal and a pint. We also had the weather and I’m bringing it home with me so get the sun cream ready.

This Saturday while they last, we will have some yummy welsh treats for you. We sold out of these within 30 minutes last time at the Park. So first come first served. Please comment below if you’re one of the lucky ones to have one, what you like about them.

We will also have a selection of other tasty cakes for you. All our cakes are made super fresh and collected early morning from Karen Blair cakes for you to enjoy with your chosen drink from Scruffythomas.

Karen and I are working together to bring you the very best cakes at Knighton Park. If you want to visit Karen Blair’s Cafe/Bakery which is just a short walk away from the park into Knighton, it is on Meadville Road. Open Tuesday through to Saturday.

Knighton Park dates for June.…

I’m on the park this Thursday from 9am then taking a family break for a week in Cornwall and then I’m back with you on Saturday 15th.

Today is a special day for Scruffy, as you know all my bakes are locally made by Karen Blair Cakes which is located on Meadville Road in Knighton. Well….

This morning Karen had a surprise for me and a treat for you. Bara Brith a Welsh Fruit loaf made with tea 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. I just had to taste test one before unleashing them to you my guests of Knighton Park.

Happy Sunday morning everyone, on what is a beautiful soggy start to what will be a great day.

Tomorrow morning I may be a little later opening, I have damaged my vans wheel on a pothole and need to leave it with a local mechanic so I will head straight over asap. Aiming to be ready shortly after 9am.

It was a lovely misty start this morning then the rain came and I was kept warm from all the kind comments of support and “Welcome to Knighton Park Scruffy” 😁.

At ScruffyThomas this is what we named our Hot Chocolate because it’s a hug in a mug and the best you will ever have.

Big Birthday weekend at CorsaStradale.co.uk was epic. Great to see so many familiar faces enjoying their time together at this awesome motorbike accessory shop in Melton Mowbray.

Scruffythomas was supporting the team at CorsaStradale all weekend. Thanks to everyone, the cooler weather did not stop many of you arriving by bike. See you all again at the next event 👍🏻.

Here at Scruffythomas we are all about Coffee but did you now that because of you choosing to drink Scruffy Thomas coffee we are then able to give back and sponsor Jack Newton. Now this cool young man Jack, is following his dreams, with the guidance and support from family, friends and more Jack has become a great racer. Season after season he continues to improve his mindset, ability and skills within the racing community. He is humble and grounded, showing great determination, I know he’s set to be on many podiums in the future.

We’re traveling to Crowland this Saturday for their spectacular fireworks night. We are looking forward to supporting this amazing community event for the second year. With many more stall, food, drinks, entertainment this year it’s going to be a blast.

Had such a lovely time at Etties Field Halloween event at the weekend. It felt like a fantastic family party meeting up with so many people I now call friends. The rain couldn’t stop the fun and the singers actually made the rain stop! It was magical 😁. Josh Gleaves Music Chloe Ann Gleaves my heart was made warmer and full having the extremely talented Gleaves duo.

Tomorrow is Halloween at Etties Field. A truly special place to visit or stay and camp out. A unique experience for all the family, this beautiful campsite is a beautiful spot in the countryside run by wonderful people.
