Today, as the country reflects on the life of HM Queen Elizabeth II, some of the children at Daisy Nursery spent time thinking about her, and the important job she did for so many years. They made crowns and built their own Buckingham Palace structures, and they looked again at the trees we planted earlier this year especially for the Platinum Jubilee, along with some very special plaques.

What terribly sad news this evening. We were all so pleased to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee earlier this year and learn more about her incredible reign. A true loss for our country, and for her family - to whom we send our condolences.

Thank you for your service Ma'am. May you rest in peace.

Aster Daisy Nursery in Rake, near Liss and Petersfield, has a limited number of places for Pre-School-aged children this summer. A super opportunity to take part in our special programme of activity ‘Summer of Fun’, make memories and prepare them for the next step to primary school.

We've converted an old pool house on our site into a physical play space, with areas for our littlest babies up to our largest pre-schoolers.

A busy launch month at Aster Daisy Nursery culminated last week in a visit from the MP for East Hampshire, Damian Hinds.

Leading a tour of the setting, a newly-renovated Edwardian house with three spacious suites for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and employee conference and training facilities, managing director Victoria Peterkin explained the importance of environment on early years learning, and the company's experience in the sector and its growth in Hampshire.

After meeting our educators and head office team, Mr Hinds saw the children at play in their learning suites and was invited to share in a craft activity with two of our pre-schoolers.

Completing his visit, he said, ‘I was impressed by the care that has been taken to restore the beautiful Edwardian house and garden into such an attractive care and learning environment.’

A big moment for Daisy Nursery as we launched our newest setting, Aster Daisy, on 21 January. Over 50 special guests were given exclusive tours, before the Petersfield Town Mayor officially opened the building.
