🐟 These are some social media post ideas that I made whilst developing my Brand Brief · Catfish project. I really enjoyed putting all the various elements for final project together on this one.

🐟CATFISH

🐟Another completed project from .brief.

🐟Catfish is a traditional fish and chip shop in London that sells beer with its fish and chips, and everything is takeaway.

🐟For the branding for this project, I really played into the traditional fish and chip shop idea. Looking to take inspiration from the likes of seaside and fisherman towns where takeaway fish and chips tends to be quite common place.

🖥️ NEW SET-UP

Finally decided to upgrade my set-up. Working from my Macbook, I found myself always reaching for my iPad to have the extra screen space. As well as doing the human zoom (which all designers are probably guilty of 😂).

I have been using my new set-up for the last few weeks now, and it has been a game changer. I can see my work so much more clearly, I have everything I need right in front of me. But I also have my Macbook to the side for the extra screen space, just for the odd occasion I need to have something for a quick reference.

I ended up going with the Mac Mini, and a Predator Acer 27" QHD monitor. For those who are not familiar. It is basically a gaming monitor with the best quality screen.

My iPad also sits in front. I will often times use this when working up some sketches or developing some illustration ideas for brand patterns. When it is not being used for that, I will admit I do have a movie or TV show playing (I mean aren't we all guilty of having something to watch whilst working 😂)

My keyboard and mouse are both from the Logitech pop series. What is great about these is that they have multiple bluetooth connections, so I can switch the devices I use them for as and when I need to. And the purple colours help with the look 💜.

🍦COLOR SCHEMES!

🍦Just thought I would share some colour schemes that where left on the cutting room floor whilst developing my last project.

🍦I think colour has to be one of my favourite stages of the design process. Just seeing that language that colour has and the way that it can completely bring a project to life.

🍦There was one or two here that I was so close to using, but the one used in the full project just made it all come together the best.

🍦Here is my submission for the Brand Brief · We Create Brands Motley project. This was such a fun project to work on. Making a logo suite, packaging, social media, awning and business cards.

🍦Motley is a dessert restaurant known for colourful desserts, so I took the idea of colour and ran with it!

⚫ I made these information posts to go on the social media for the group. Using the type to highlight the significance of the statistics. Keeping it simple to make sure that the point could come across, whilst also encouraging people to register to vote.

🟠Some more content from the CAMO project. The project was aimed at highlighting the neglect of the government as means of encouraging people to register to vote.

⚫It is so easy to register and not enough young people especially are registered to vote.

🟠 This project was a good one to work on. A little favourite of mine up to now. Working with creatives Áine McCallion, Maisie Pointon and Olivia Vaughan ().

⚫ Introducing CAMO. An activism group looking to bring to light socio-political issues happening in todays society.

🟠 CAMO created the exhibition 14 Years, made in response to government neglect between 2010 and 2024. This is just a small selection of the work. I am looking forward to sharing more with you guys!

A card game inspired by the extremes of cosplay. Designed to give players a motive, weapon and costume to help get into character before a kill.

A set of infographics displaying the statistics of abortions in developing countries, with a more detailed focus on the sub sections of Africa. Looking to show the need for appropriate abortion care.

🌸Fun little project experimenting with type!

Using artificial flowers and arranged them into the individual letterforms to make the word courage! Bringing the elements into photoshop to put them all together, editing the background and adding some little details to the negative space.

A timeline looking at the influential women across the timeline in celebration of the 200 year bicentenary!
The timeline displays each of the influential women and how they have impacted the university.

⭐ Made using screen printing. Topped with glitter for the extra effect. Photographed with star confetti to add to the magical nature! A little reminder to be yourself, and share your magic.

⭐Project was in response to a mini brief about what type of work I will create and the type of creative I want to be! This print reflects my personality and who I would like to be as a creative. Adding a little magic to the projects I create. It serves as a reminder to be myself!

💜The final day of the challenge is of an adorable giraffe! I think that this design is so cute and I think that it is a great design to finish on! I cannot believe that it has been 30 days of drawing! I have had so much fun doing these drawings! I think that some of my favourites have to be the seahorse and the Butterfly

💜This design is of an adorable horse! I think that I have gotten much more skilled at drawing four legged animals. At the start of the challenge I found them to be so hard, but now I feel so much better at drawing them! I cannot believe the amount I have improved!
