always a joy. Yesterday was what it's all about. Even beyond the field, embracing diversity in all people, opening up alternative pathways of social change. I always feel there is more to be said than I had been able to say at these kinda things, but through food, song, pencil and paper - my heart is brimming ✨
Here's a recipe for 'Green Party', the pesto I brought to the evening feast
Lemon balm was the basil here, so I filled a big bowl. Probs half of that in stems of 3 corner leek for a nice crunchy freshness. Around 10 or so leaves of jack-by-the-hedge. Same for lovage and marjoram. 250g of toasted almonds. Same for pecorino, and enough extra virgin olive oil to loosen it up (around 750ml). One preserved lemon, and one fresh (juice and zest). Blitz the lot.
