So true! A tempting path for many people to follow.

Deep Inner work is exactly that.

It takes courage to go there and once you do, you gain such clarity on the illusions in the world of therapy. It has its place, but there is a need to also work at the less glamorous side of healing, and that requires a commitment from yourself to do the selfwork, to be prepared to surrender, be vulnerable and ok with having your pain and tears witnessed by another person. It’s a tough path but such a powerful one.

No healer, therapist or practitioner can ‘fix’ you, but we can hold space for you, share our knowledge and support you on your path.

Finding the right support with someone you feel safe with and trust is key 🙏

Planning some training overseas for 2025.

I am not a fan of relentless re-invented certified courses, designed to sell and make money.

My experience as a client over decades were more than disappointing, and showed me an array of certificates do not guarantee a good standard or positive outcome.

However, there are times when wanting to offer more niche work, training is important, for you to expand your knowledge to bring a quality service to your clients.

One course I have wanted to do for over a year and set up a Community Interest Company in August 2023 in readiness, but I accepted it was not the right time and to just flow and look upon it as a pause.

The other course is a modality I discovered in 2022, and now experienced as a client on two trips to Holland this year, has led me to decide to invest in training, as I know now it does what it says on the label and can literally change lives.

I am not a therapist focused on manifesting full time busy clinics, I simply want to support others on their path, and my hope is my sessions give clients exactly what they need in that moment.

These trainings will enable me to bring beautiful and nurturing additions to my work 😊

A struggle to get here today, but worth it.

A much needed return to acupuncture and somatics this morning, my body holding onto so much from the last 10 days. Clearing stuck emotions is an essential part of life many overlook. Call it maintenance!

First we start with the backlog of a lifetime of experiences, emotions, learned patterns, and then finding the right support, we can work on new moments as they happen, to prevent everything building up inside.

Ploughing on in survival mode, supressing or ignoring emotions is unsupportive to anyone’s health, if not now, in the future.

I have learned so much on this 30+ year healing journey, which I bring into my own healing/somatic work with clients 🦋

My horse drum begins the next stage of its journey, travelling to a new Guardian who I know and love ❤️

I am grateful to the lessons this drum gifted to me, from birthing it, playing it and now the process of letting go🐴 🦋🙏

I am a deep thinker, a sensitive. I care for others and feel so much to the core of my very being.

There are times things happen that cut deep into my heart and override anything else happening in that moment. This week was no exception.

Always live from your heart, with only good intention towards others, bring in self-love even more when you feel such deep emotional pain, reminding yourself how others think, feel or react to you is their stuff, not yours to carry.

Never apologise for being a feeling and embodied person living and working from your ❤️ we need more authenticity and pure love in this world 🙏

I have forgotten how many years it was since I visited Ann and played my drum, discussing and exploring ways to bring the healing, nurturing and uplifting beats of the drum to her Forest School.

The vision will now be a reality 🥳

I feel humbled to be remembered and invited to join Little Squirrels Torquay CIC on this next chapter of their journey, now a permanent site has been found to develop the project.

Together we can all help to create the new world we wish to see. Never give up on your dreams! 🦋

Fabulous meeting today connecting with Jenny. She's going to be doing some nourishing Wednesday Wellness sessions where kids can play at our Forest school site, cooking mud pies, making berry teas, digging for treasure or climbing the obstacle course whilst grown ups get to relax with her soundbaths and the beat of her drum.

I'm so so excited to see these 90 minute sessions come to life!!
