Minimal Waste Denim! With it being reported that approximately 260-300 million pairs of jeans are produced in China alone PER YEAR 😳 we’re focusing on for a while ... such a versatile fabric usually far too good to go to landfill!

I haven’t brought any new clothes in a while, knowing the severity of the impact we are having on the planet has slowly changed my way of thinking and made my conscience decide against it .... but I am guilty of buying cheap, fast fashion in the past 🙋♀️ anyone that knows me will tell you I have FAR too many clothes!
So starting from today, I’m going to pledge to buy no new clothes for a year .... we can buy second hand and upcycled clothes, contributing to a circular fashion industry, but nothing new .... I actually don’t think I’ll struggle!! .... who’s with me?? 💕

Digitised our Indalo man design, the ancient symbol found carved in caves in Mojacar, Almeria. Also known as the Rainbow Warrior it is believed that if you have this symbol it will bring you luck and protect you, and if painted on the outside of your house it’ll protect the family that live there 💕

On the 24th April 2013 the Rana plaza factory in Bangladesh collapsed, the search for the dead ended 13th May with a death toll of 1,134, and a further 2500 injured. The building's owners ignored warnings to avoid using the building after cracks had appeared the day before. Garment workers were ordered to return the following day, and the building collapsed during the morning rush-hour. Their working conditions and pay were poor .... this factory was used by many of the big brands we use everyday .... week, raising awareness of the real cost of fast, cheap fashion .... it’s time to change how we consume fashion and ask yourself ‘Who made my clothes?’ ❤️🌍
