And now for something completely different. Well not the usual build style for us but took it on as something bit dif. Greenstone and flint lime wall with reclaimed brick low wall waiting for railings and gate to be fitted
Another exposed bank retained the best way. Dry laid hamstone wall.
Pulled down and rebuilt this hamstone wall. Lots of character this one.
Forest marble drystone project just completed by myself and Sam. Sam's done a lovely job on these steps.
Over 20 tons of limestone and rubble moved up a few steps by hand on this terracing job Sam and me finished today
Rip it up and start again. 150 year old retaining hamstone dry wall pushed over and needing the bank cutting back and a complete rebuild. Reused all the original stone with new stone added, locally sourced from Ham Hill.
Little job Sam and I did in the week running up to Xmas. Customer had 2 mortared Marnhull stone front walls that had been wrecked by frost. We decided to replace them with drystone forest marble walls that will last a very long time come all weather !
Finishing touches today to a gate installation project. Managed to finally get the pillar caps lifted on top the Lias pillars we did a few months ago.
Sam and me just finished this arty wall down in Dorset. Purbeck stone with steel fossil and waves.

Customer had a large pile of rubble Mullen Stone taking up half her garden for the last 15 years. She had the vision to create a walled courtyard off the back of their old mill. Sam and me just finished today. Lime build with reclaimed brick corners and blue lias swan neck coping.
Little dry stone forest marble Ha Ha that Sam and me put up a couple months back. Maybe the last bank we dig out by hand 😂 Something to be said for doing it all by hand.
Ages since I posted, been busy putting the finishing touches to a project that's kept us ticking along for the last few months. Reclaimed hamstone garden re build with koi pond, retaining walls, seating area, paved flooring and two flights of steps.
Will and Sam now working for The National Trust creating drystone gate ways along the cliff top path near Burton Bradstock. What an office ! Love my job :)

Big Hamstone drystone retaining wall finished ! Samuel Taylor and I been chipping away at this one for the last few months. Around 50 ton of stone in this one, 30 m long and 2m at it's highest point. Had to take a video cause it wouldn't fit in frame :) We bagged all the stone ourselves on Ham Hill just a few miles away from site.
Me and Samuel Taylor just finished a 13 m forest marble drystone retaining wall, with some shelves for plants. Really pleased with this one, special little wall for a lovely couple.

Finished another old lime wall take down and rebuild at this listed property. Lovely old hamstone copes to finish the top of the wall and really smarten up the front approach to this beautiful building.
Recently finished restoring a local church entrance using the original stone and lime mortar. l would also like to introduce and welcome Samuel Taylor to the Will's Walls team. Talented waller and all round sound fella. Comes with a sweet hearted collie called Mishka. Looking forward to many adventures together 😊
