Area Relief Officers – Newcastle

£9.50 per hour
40hrs per week

Amulet Security is the security division of Churchill Services, a soft FM services provider, and are recognised as ACS Star Performers. Our security services include Manned Guarding, Front of House Reception/Concierge, Mobile Patrols, Key Holding/Alarm Response and Electronic Security Systems.

Duties will include working on various sites, managing access and egress, patrolling, monitoring CCTV systems, car park assistance/support, supporting the site's management team and other ad-hoc duties.

Person Specification:

•Must have very good communication skills in both oral and written English.
•Must have excellent customer service skills
•Must have good organisational and record keeping skills
•Must always be well presented
•Must have the ability to communicate at all levels, with both internal and external clients.

Qualifications:
• Driving Licence essential
• Must have SIA Licence
• First Aid certificate is desirable

Other Requirements:
•Must be able to provide a checkable 5year employment history for vetting purpose
•Must have own transport and a full UK driving licence

The roles are full time and contracted hours will be worked over days, nights, and weekends.

To enhance its security network our client, is commissioning an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to act as the hub for all its electronic security operations and systems. This is a new facility which they are investing in and it will become a key business activity focussed on delivering the highest standard of operational security management. Amulet are delighted to be working in partnership on this new facility and are now recruiting for, the following position;

Job title - ARC Manager
Location: Leeds
Hours/Days: 40 hours per week to include days/nights/weekends
Salary: £16.00 per hour.
Essential qualifications/experience: SIA Door Supervisor/Manned Guarding and SIA CCTV licence

Person specification:
• Experienced in providing exceptional customer service and building and maintaining relationships.
• Experience of working within a client facing environment.
• To work in accordance with Amulet policies
• Demonstrates and able to use own initiative, use judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance.
• Able to multi-task and work in a sometimes-pressurised environment.
• Able to be enthusiastic in building relationships and to effectively liaise with all levels of people.
• Able to train and coach operators both formally and informally.
• Excellent time management skills and methodical approach to work, to ensure objectives are achieved on time.
• Innovative and creative to ensure prompt solution to problems posed.

Key responsibilities:
 Ensure the recording, inputting and maintenance of comprehensive and accurate records of all daily business in line with Amulet procedures and Client requirements.
 Communicate updates, incidents and escalations to the relevant operational team or agency and act as the central point to gather responses or respond to questions
 Ensure that all calls and emails are answered politely, professionally and courteously in line with stated procedures and policy, and responding promptly and efficiently:
 Ensure Client and internal SLA/KPI’s are achieved whilst maintaining the highest of standards:
 Record and monitor all alarm activations appropriately.
 Where required, manage the tracking of vehicles, mobile patrols and, if required, lone workers, to ensure the safety of officers or Client operatives:
 Provide a daily report to include, shift gaps, significant DOB events, check calls and any non-routine events.
 Provide a weekly roster of personnel to the Client and the company operational team managers:
 Respond to, and deal with, any ad-hoc duties that may be reasonably required or requested from time to time:
 be able to demonstrate, through training and instruction, appropriate and efficient management of security incidents
