Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend!
It’s been a super busy one for me 🤩 Friday night I went to my good friends first ever show and he absolutely smashed it 🥊 what an amazing night!👏🏼
On Saturday I was down at the event, helping the girls with their stall 😍 We got to see
at his CEO mindset interview which was fab - I am a huge fan 🙋🏼♀️ great day and great event! even chucked an Origin t-shirt at him 🤣
And today we have had a lovely family day for Mothers Day - lots of coffee, cake and a nice walk ☕️
I have so much to catch up on on socials from the past few weeks +, I feel like it’s been non stop but in such a good way.. I just can’t always keep up on here 🤣
So what’s coming? Some spam to begin with from the The CrossFit Open, lots of client progressions and PB’s (my team are killing it 🥳), update with my training and what’s new here.. lots of work going on in the back ground all which is super exciting.

The post that has been circulating our news feed the past few days.
‘Bye-bye b***y: He**in chic is back’
I don’t often put my opinion out here but this one got me, for SO many reasons.
‘He**in chic’ is known as a ‘style’ from the mid 1990’s where women (mainly in the fashion/supermodel world) looked extremely thin and malnourished with dark circles under their eyes and very pale skin - showing common traits linked with the abuse of he**in and other drugs.
So apparently this era is coming back around, and I just can’t get my head around it.
Our bodies are not trends to continue to change to fit society’s so-called current fashion.
The ‘he**in chic’ look ruined so many lives. It caused many to develop drug addictions and eating disorders in the hope of becoming thin, which resulted in serious mental and physical health issues, as well as death.
There are so many impressionable people on social media, especially the younger generation, who I hope have the courage and strength not to succumb to this article.
I work with many women who are still learning to show themselves some love and understand just how worthy they are, with that not being determined solely by how they look.
This is a reminder that you are enough just as you are and you do not need to try to change your body or become smaller just because the media put this out there.
And to anyone who needs to hear this today..
Your body size does not define who you are
Restricting yourself from food will not make you happy
Size ‘zero’ is not healthy or sustainable
Do not let numbers define you as a person
Love your body and your b***y
I could continue to go on.. but please know that eating disorders are not a joke, in fact make that all addictions! They are very dangerous and consume people’s lives.
Live to be happy, to be healthy and live a life for you - and only you ❤️

No matter how heavy s**t gets, you keep going.
Been a little absent from socials recently for a few different reasons, but business has been busy at the salon as well as the gym. My clients, both in person and online have been making amazing progress 🤩 and there is lots of exciting things going on/coming up..
Over the last 10 weeks or so, I’ve been on a rollercoaster of a ride, after finding out I had ripped both my left and right supraspinatus muscles (rotator cuffs). I have been consistently getting my rehab sessions in alongside lots of shockwave sessions, and dry needling 😅.. I’ve also had to massively adapt my training, which I’m not going to pretend hasn’t been really tough. I needed to put all my training goals on hold and focus on healing my injuries. There was some good weeks, some bad weeks but I stuck to the plan. On a positive, my squats got super strong 😍 until… 2 weeks ago I got a tear in my quad 😭 I think my legs were telling me they needed some rest 🥲 Luckily it’s only grade 1 and should be healed in another week, or 2.
I can’t thank Kane enough at for all his help and support in fixing me (and allowing me to compete in Turf Games when we first started my physio 😇)
Today I finally got the green light to be able to load up, and train as normal after trying some overhead stuff this week and we finally have NO PAIN in the shoulders 🥳🥹 I still need to be a little careful with the quad. But we are on the road to recovery and I couldn’t be more excited!
I still have lots of rehab to continue with, but we are finally making progress.
With lots of comps coming up, I have a lot of work to do🔥
Don’t ignore your niggles or injuries either guys..
Although, we have worked out mine stemmed from my job at the salon. So basically I need to quit lashing (but I’m never going to do that) 🤣💖
STAY CONSISTENT with whatever it is you’re doing, and don’t give up 🫶🏼 # # #
to when I could throw things above my head 🏋🏼♀️
Hopefully just another few weeks and I can get back to training as usual and this shoulder will be healed 🤞🏼
Until then, heavy squats and deadlifts it is 🤣

Fitness is never about how much weight you lose. It is about how much strength and confidence you gain.
Weight loss (for most people) will be a result of implementing some good daily habits that were never there before, just like my online client has done here.
Daily habits include: moving more, having a well balanced nutritional intake with food (because I hate the word diet), getting adequate sleep and keeping hydrated.
Lifting weights a few times a week helps to make you strong AF too, and benefits your body for many different reasons 💪🏼🔥
Sounds pretty simple right? So how did my client get these great results?

There is no quick fix. Be consistent and play the long game.

Sweet and spicy Mexican chicken
Quick, easy and delicious 😋
Ingredients:
Chicken thighs
Onions
Mushrooms
MAGGI So Juicy Mexican recipe mix
New potatoes
Tender stem broccoli
How to cook:
Prepare your chicken thighs, mushrooms and onions (or chosen veg) in your MAGGI bag with the seasoning mix.
Pop in the oven at 160 degrees (fan over), for 45-50 minutes.
Boil your new potatoes for around 20 mins, and steam your tender stem broccoli for 5-6 minutes.
Dish up together, and enjoy!

Meet Toni, my online client.
Toni has made amazing progress on her journey with me and has said she has never felt better!

Nutrition doesn’t have to be plain and boring whilst you’re trying to reach your goals. Whatever they are, you can still allow yourself foods you enjoy, and STILL (yes still) make amazing progress. 🔥
The main thing is you are consistent with it. Nothing is going to happen overnight, nothing is going to happen if you blow it every single weekend.
