A few pictures from our game yesterday, really proud of the team for attitude and behaviour all game yesterday and especially during the minute silence held for Sir Bobby Charlton.

After another week off we were back to it this weekend, against a strong opponent.
The team tried really hard and regardless of the result, they always find time smile and be kids after the game.

Really late post but last Sunday some of the Warriors clan, were able to attend and take part in our sponsored walk.

These kids love nothing more than football and playing with their friends, so having some quality time outside of football to let them be kids is a huge must, for sometimes we forget that football is a game, being yourselves, having fun and making memories is more valuable that any win.

As a club and the Warriors team we are always grateful for support we receive from family, friends, supporters of the team and our sponsors. You are what make this possible and give these kids the opportunities and attire.

Game 2 of the season and what another great performance from the boys. They all gave their upmost again for themselves and team mates. It's great to see the development and friendships growing each week.

Unfortunately our little pocket rocket Jaidon, got injured today and has suffered a broken arm, we would all like to wish him a speedy recovery, such a brave lad today and we already cannot wait for you to return to the team.

New season for the Warriors team. What a great game of football for the first game of the season. Both teams were outstanding, huge credit to our opposition today, they put in a shift and wore their hearts on their sleeves. Manager, coaches and parents were all fantastic, cannot praise them enough for their support of all players.

As a coach, sometimes you ask yourself why do I do this? Do I need the additional stress? Am I doing the right thing for the team? Do I teach them right?

Remember without you sometimes no teams form and children desperate to play football miss much needed opportunities.

As a team we have worked very hard to keep spirits high through some tough games last season and progress each player in a way which suits their needs and ability/understanding.

Today proved how well and how much they have learnt not only by way of our coaching, but together they help each other week on week, become better players.

Really proud of the boys, well done today and thanks to all the parents, family members, friends that were there today supporting the team.

What a fantastic end to the season, presentation evening with everyone. The boys this year have all found their own, be it confidence, friends, a love of football they all should be proud of what they have achieved.

The last picture of the season, its been a great season, although results were hit and miss throughout, we tried our best to make sure everyone was included and fun was bigger than winning.

Thanks to all of the parents, grandparents, family members or friends that have been so supportive throughout. Without yourselves bringing the children weekly to training and games there would never be a wombourne Allstars warriors team 👏🏼🙂⭐️⚽️

From my perspective as coach, I have enjoyed the first season, this time last year I was stood in front of children and parents I've never meet, thinking what have I put myself in for here, but after the first session I knew this was for me, all be it at points difficult, watching the growth and development of these fantastic boys, it's not a challenge but a privilege to do this. Football is about fun and coming together, winning is lovely but watching players progress means so much more.
