We recently completed a domestic boiler upgrade project, which included carrying out a power flush and installing a new Vaillant ecoTEC Pro 30h system, with MagnaClean filter. 💧 🔥

Recently, we completed a project for a customer in North Berwick, who had long-standing issues with their existing underfloor heating. 🔥

We carried out maintenance on the underfloor manifolds and diagnosed some faults on the controls which we rectified to ensure that the system now operates effectively.

Recently, we carried out a heating system upgrade for our customers (Alex and Susan) in Cumbernauld. 🔥

The project included a chemical clean of the system (powerflush), we then converted the old system to suit a new Vaillant Ecotec Plus, with a 7 year warranty, and upgraded the controls. We also altered the waste and hot and cold supplies to create a lot more space in the next cupboard below the sink.

Alex and Susan were delighted with the installation and the performance of the new system! 🙌

Here are some images from a recent new domestic boiler installation. As part of this project, we removed the old boiler, completed a powerflush and installed and commissioned the new boiler, which includes a 5 year warranty.

We recently carried out an annual service on these golden oldies - a bank of 5 Hamworthy NGR 250 boilers. Their condition goes to show how a good maintenance plan will sustain the life of your gas/heating plant!

After ongoing gas leak problems with the gas spine supplying our clients cookers, it was time to rip it out and upgrade not only the gas line but the drainage, too. We also added an extra discharge point to increase their cooking capacity. 👨‍🍳 🥘

Our team carried out the works throughout the night so that our client didn’t miss out on any trade! 👍

After completing the first fix a couple of weeks ago, we returned to this kitchen project in Edinburgh this week to carry out the second fix and complete the project before the deadline, resulting in another happy client! 💪

Yesterday, we attended an emergency call-out to one of our restaurant clients who had no gas in the kitchen. 🥘

After carrying out diagnostic work on the gas interlock system, we identified that the problem was the gas solenoid. We decommissioned the gas line, replaced it with a new re-commissioned line and tested it.

We were delighted to get service back up and running! 🔥 💪

Recently, we completed some work on the historic P.S Waverley paddle steamer while she was docked in Glasgow. 🚢

It’s always a pleasure to visit and spend time on this iconic ship, which dates all the way back to the 1940s. Thanks to Lucy from Waverley Excursions for her kind feedback:

Last week we completed a domestic power flush project.

Our client (Conor), had been experiencing long-standing issues with his radiators, which were not heating on the ground floor and only partially heating on the 1st floor.

After investigating, we discovered that the magnetic filter had been installed in the wrong place and was collecting iron oxides (see image below). We removed the filter and installed a new Adey Magna Clean and, after flushing the system, the heating worked perfectly! Conor was happy with the results - here’s some of the feedback he gave us:

Recently, we’ve been re-routIng both heating and chilled water pipes to a fan coil unit at a commercial unit in . We moved the pipes into the new position, lagged with foil back insulation, joined the pipes using a press fit system and purged/tested both heating and chilled pipes! 🔥💧
