We are really pleased to announce that we are working with LMO Space to explore the use of small satellites for space-based Space Domain Awareness as part of LMOās AUREA programme. We will study the mission scope of a space-based SDA demonstrator small satellite with a software stack on the ground to demonstrate end-user compatibility. The study will also identify and define Space Resident Objects and orbits of interest, assess real time on-edge processing needs, and determine the number of small satellites required to deliver LMOās full AUREA SDA service.
Our CEO, Doug Liddle, says āWe recognise the importance of monitoring the Earthās orbital environment and synthesising an accurate picture of an increasingly contested space domain.ā
Michael and Gary are at the Space Hub at DSEI ready to answer your questions! Make sure to pop by and say hi!

We are very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the UK Space Agency International Bi-lateral Fund to develop Faraday Dragon, the first regional and multi-agency in-orbit payload rideshare mission. The matched fund grant will enable In-Space Missions to set up the collaboration framework and develop the mission definition for Faraday Dragon with partners in the region, working towards the design, build and launch in 2026 of the first in the series of rideshare missions. We are progressing towards a blueprint for the mission architecture through a series of discussions and in-country workshops with government bodies, space agencies, commercial organisations and academia in the region.Ā These discussions with organisations from Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan have already identified mutual areas of interest for the first mission including agricultural monitoring, low-cost and accessible connectivity, radio frequency observation and processing, and disaster monitoring.Ā

Here is proof that you do not need a degree in Software Engineering to become a Software Engineer!
We have recently welcomed two new Junior Software Engineer's - Rebecca and Emina, to the team. Both career switchers, they started their journey into Space from Code First Girls and we are now thrilled to have them on board.
In-Space Missions Limited teamed up with Reading tech firm Thales, MBDA, and BAE Systems to sponsor free coding courses from First Girls to address the gender diversity gap within the industry.
Both women have said 'they feel proud' working inside the Space Industry, having previously thought it was out of reach.....now, they are reaching for the stars!
