✨WELSH NATIONAL WEDDING AWARDS 2023✨
I had the best time last night at the Welsh National wedding awards celebrating the achievements of our wonderful Welsh wedding industry.
It was lovely to catch up with industry friends, get glammed up and celebrate.
I am absolutely over the moon to have won East Wales’ Best Wedding Musical Act. It was an absolute honour to even have been shortlisted in a category filled with seriously talented musicians. I was shocked to say the least when I heard my name being announced as the winner and I’m still pinching myself 🥹
Thank you to all the amazing couples and their family and friends that took the time to vote for me, it means the world 🫶🏻
I’m so grateful to be able to call this my job and overwhelmed by all the love and support for my little business 🤍

On the 16th of July I was back at the beautiful Hall for Rhiannon and Jack’s wedding day.
The ceremony was held in the Nelson Suite and Rhiannon chose to walk down the aisle to Perfect by Ed Sheeran. The ceremony was beautiful and personal as their celebrant captured the essence of their relationship so perfectly!
Following the ceremony I then moved to the terrace to entertain during the drinks reception. It was one of the hottest days of the year so I’m thankful to have set up in a lovely shaded spot! The bonus of it being such hot weather is that the stunning views could be fully appreciated 😍
I also got a little emotional when I received such a beautiful thank you gift from the couple 🥹

WHAT A WEDDING! On the 15th of July I had the absolute joy playing for Temi and Moe’s incredible wedding day at the beautiful . The day started with the legal ceremony where I played the beautiful bride down the aisle to ‘Tale As Old As Time’ from Beauty and The Beast. After the ceremony finished the newlyweds walked out together to ‘Rule The World’ by Take That, it was a pleasure to learn this song for them and it was a perfect song choice for the couple! During my break as I was waiting to perform my next set I got to witness their beautiful Church blessing and amazing traditional ceremony which was full of colour, joy and dancing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many beautiful and colourful outfits in one room!
I then entertained during the wedding breakfast as the guests sat down to enjoy their meal.
To top this amazing wedding off it was also filmed for a new show on ITVBe, ‘The Singles Table’ where I had my own little moment on the screen!

On the 4th of July was my first time playing at the stunning new Oldwalls Collection venue . I played during the ceremony where the bride chose to walk down the aisle to Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kina Grannis, a beautifully modern twist on a classic just like this stunning venue!
I then set up outside the breathtaking new K Room to entertain during the drinks reception and it was my absolute pleasure to learn some new music for the couple who are massive fans of country music! Some of their choices included Maren Morris, Rascal Flatts and Luke Combs 🎶

On the 2nd of July I played at Alice and Dylan’s wedding breakfast at . When I walked in I was blown away with how beautiful the room looked 😍
Their playlist was full of some fun requests from One Direction to Bon Jovi and their guests joined in and sang along to so many of the songs I was playing 🎶

Madison and Elmer- 25.06.2022 ✨
The last of my June weddings this year and what a day! Despite the absolutely crazy weather (storms, hail, sun and everything in between!) the couple had the most beautiful day.
I was booked for the ceremony and wedding breakfast which provided plenty of opportunity to hear lots of music!
Madison and her bridal party walked down the aisle to Can’t Help Falling in Love- Kina Grannis. This version of the Elvis classic gained popularity after being featured in the film ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ and it is absolutely beautiful. The perfect modern twist on a classic!
After a break during the drinks reception (where I was treated to some lovely food by the couple and insole court 🤍) I started playing during the afternoon tea wedding breakfast. 🎶

On the 24th of June I was a part of Rhea and David’s wedding ceremony and drinks reception at the Via Julia Suite at the . The views of the resort and Cardiff from the venue were beautiful😍
Their ceremony was full of personal and meaningful song choices including a special request of you’ll never walk alone as the last song just before Rhea made her entrance to walk down the aisle 🎶
Not only was the set up and venue beautiful, The staff were just as amazing and really looked after all the suppliers 🧡
It was a pleasure to be a part of Rhea and David’s wedding day and a massive congratulations to the newlyweds 🥰🤍
On the 23rd of June I was a part of Regina and Sam’s wedding blessing and celebration at the beautiful . They had legally married last year and this was their celebration with all their loved ones 🤍
The couple booked me for a bespoke package where I played during the blessing, drinks reception and wedding breakfast. During the blessing I played Regina down the aisle to Someone Like You by Dina Carroll which was a new one for me and it was the perfect choice 🎶
I then entertained during the drinks reception and wedding breakfast playing another beautiful request of ‘La Vie En Rose’ whilst the couple cut their spectacular cake 😍
The day was full of traditions, colour and fun and a massive congratulations to the loveliest couple 🤍
On the 11th of June I was back at one of my favourite venues in North Wales, the beautiful for Kris and Rebecca’s wedding.
Rebecca chose Van Morrison’s ‘Have I Told You Lately’ as her aisle song, which was a new song for me and it was an absolute pleasure to learn it for them. It was the perfect song choice for an emotional and special moment.

On the 10th of June I performed at Sam and Mike’s wedding at . It was my first time playing at this venue and what a beautiful ceremony room!

The 4th of June was Beth and Max’s wedding day and it was one with a difference for me as they held their day at their own stunning home. It was truly a magical setting to have the privilege to play at 🤍
The couple booked my full day package which provided plenty of opportunities for the couple and their guests to hear all their favourite music throughout the day.
The ceremony was full of beautiful moments lead perfectly by and the bride walked down the aisle to my acoustic rendition of ‘How Deep is Your Love’ by the Beegees
Following the ceremony the guests enjoyed the drinks reception outdoors as I entertained in the same spot in the shade of the trees with plenty of upbeat song choices and a few guest song requests (from Queen to Frozen!) 🎶
The wedding breakfast then took place in the yurt which was decorated perfectly by the couple (they really thought of every detail!) and the couple kindly placed me at the table to enjoy a meal with their guests during my break 🥰
A wonderful day for such a wonderful couple, thank you for having me and a huge congratulations to you both! 🎊

The first of my June weddings took place at the stunning . Emma and Rhys’s ceremony took place in the Calon Lodge which overlooks the vineyard and makes the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony 😍 They had a beautifully personal ceremony filled with some lovely music choices and one of my favourite requests to date of ‘Came Here For Love’ Ella Eyre/Sigala for their Newlyweds Recessional. Their friend also performed Adele’s Make You Feel My Love beautifully during the ceremony.
The bifold doors were then opened as I entertained during the drinks reception on a lovely sunny day ☀️

May was full of new venues for me which is always exciting!
On the 26th of May I was a part of Lizzy and Carl’s wedding day at near Bath. The Barn was a rustic lover’s dream and provided the perfect place for their beautiful, emotional ceremony (I had to fight back the tears a few times!) I then moved outside amongst the flowers to entertain during the drinks reception, where I played plenty of requests for the Bride and Groom!
A few weeks ago I also received the loveliest thank you card through the post from the couple 🥰

On the 21st of May I was a part of Jess and Pete’s drinks reception at a gorgeous new venue for me . It was a beautiful sunny day and the folly area at the venue was such a beautiful setting!

On the 14th of May I did a different kind of performance, I played for a 50th Birthday afternoon tea party! With the host of the event being a huge fan of Bach, Handel, Mozart and Vivaldi it was lovely to play a selection of these composer’s most beautiful pieces in the sun ☀️

On the 13th of May I was back at for Jody and John’s wedding day. The couple booked my whole day package so a huge variety of music was played and enjoyed by their guests throughout the day!
The ceremony was in the beautifully intimate setting of the jailhouse before heading over to the marquee for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast.
It was also a surprise to learn that it was the bride’s 30th birthday on their wedding day and it was such a special moment accompanying the guests singing happy birthday to her! A massive congratulations to a lovely couple 🤍
