This weekend a group from The Barn Bootcamp took on the Three Peak Challenge with a goal to do it in 24 hours.

Unfortunately, this target was not met and mother nature won on this occasion.

Despite only completing two peaks, every single person in our team went above and beyond and achieved. A challenge like this is absolutely bonkers and we, for a good cause were determind to take it on.

Thank you to everyone for your support and words of encouragement.

We have not been defeated.

❕24 HOUR CHALLENGE SET❕

Over August Bank Holiday Weekend, a group of 20 members and coaches will take on the 24 Hour Three Peak Challenge to raise money for our chosen charity for 2023.

We will be walking a total of 26 miles and will ascend to a total height of almost 3,000m.

This year we are supporting with a goal to raise as close to £10,000 by the end of the year.

The Barn Games isn’t just a competition, its a day for our community to come together.

A day for our members to get together to show off their hard work and what a day we witnessed.

Our community is at the heart of what we do.

Today was our first member testing.

A series of tests put together to challenge different systems.

Strength 💪

Movement Competency 🏋️‍♂️
Endurance 😰

Working under time constraints, members were put to the test by challenging themselves in each of the above.

Today was about the individual seeing what they are capable of, but the best bit about it was they were testing in this group setting where everyone could support one another.

This is what this amazing community is built on, togetherness and team work.

The results were amazing. A credit to our members hard work inside their sessions every week. 🔥

A driving factors behind the success of our members is the strength of our community 💯

One of the great things about community is that it enables us to help people in a way we couldn't as individuals.

You know that you haven’t got to go it alone.

You know that others around you are like minded and have a shared goal.

We put a huge focus on creating an environment that encouraging our community to grow, and want the best for each other.

Not just in sessions, but away from them too.

Here is just a few of us at our first golf day together ⛳️

Working from home took its toll on Mojtaba.

He had a gym close to home, but was inconsistent with his attendance and didn’t have any kind of structure to see real results.

On what started in a quest to just lose body fat, turned into an obsession in improving his overall body composition and strength.

Like many, what Mojtaba found was his working from home schedule led him to a sedentary lifestyle that required change.

This change came about when he reached out for help and guidance from us here at the barn.

We provided the structure and clear pathway of progression Mojtaba needed.

He has dropped 10kg in just 18 weeks and as you can see above the results have been amazing and far surpassed his initial expectations. 🔥

We're excited to introduce our Corporate Games 🏆

The Games have been designed for local businesses to experience an unforgettable team-building day filled with competition, networking, prizes and great fun from start to finish 💯

You do not need to be a member, and each local business can enter at least one team of four participants. Each team will require two males and two females.

The day will run in a group and knock-out phase competition fashion. Each round will present unique types of fitness and farm-based challenges to complete.

We will have music, local food trucks and refreshments throughout the day.

Date: Friday, August 26th

Timings: 12:00-16:00

Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.

Will you see the finish article over night? No.

Will you see the finished article in Six Week? Unlikely.

However, applying yourself to a timebound commitment can be enough to being the change process of implementing meaning daily habits that are going to set you up for long term success.

Transformations come in many different spaces, sizes and timeframes.

The real success from learning the skills and habits required to become a better version of yourself from when you first started.

"At the start, I had no idea what to do..."

Like most, started in a position where she wasn't sure how to make progress towards her goals.

She's never stepped foot in a gym or attended fitness sessions.

With her demanding work schedule, she couldn't find the time to look after herself leading to her health and wellbeing going into decline.

She needed a system.

A system to break the bad habits and find time for herself once more.

Goals are good for setting a direction, but systems are best for making progress.

If you want better results, then forget about just setting goals.

Focus on your system instead.

Roll the clock forward six months, and Sarah has lost over 10kgs! First, starting at 73kg and now consistently down to 63kg.

There will always be a reason to put off getting started. There will always be work, life, family time constraints that will stand in the way.

Some people spend their entire lives waiting for the time to be suitable to improve.

Ask the question, are you stratified with where you are right now?
