Lots of new stock has just arrived at Leicester Antiques Warehouse including a pony, dog bed, vintage letters and a selection of hunting paraphernalia, taxidermy and pictures from a Hungarian collector! We’re in love with this pretty little sewing box though- still with its pins! A must for any Sewing Bee fans and what with Mother’s Day coming up... just saying... 😉

Christmas and New Year completely cleared us out of stock so it’s been a busy day of restocking at Braderie Anglais with vintage cameras, French typewriters, antique doll’s beds, classic China, sturdy stoneware and a selection of stunning glass slides that are crying out for an upcycling project. Lots of new stock heading up to The Leicester Antiques Warehouse soon. Some wonderful large vintage gold shop front letters..45cm/18" high..variety of letters..make wonderful focal point on a wall. More galvinesd planters including 2 charming olive pots..a lloyd loom chair..perfect to admir those pots in the garden. Gorgeous vintage fishermans basket and some kichenalia in the shape of Brioche molds..a creamery bowl and a couple of fab bowls which would look great with geraniums in! Last but not least a touch of the Indian continent with a beautiful embroidered panel with elephants...the choice is yours. See anything you fancy want need love..let us know R&J

What a busy bank holiday weekend at Leicester Antiques Warehouse - we've had to pop in straight away and restock! We've got some gorgeous fifties Carlton Ware - perfect for a summer picnic and Dandy Squirrel and Claude the Stoat have arrived fresh from France along with some gorgeous vintage watering cans, a couple of corbels, a typewriter called Erica and even an old mincer! Pop down to see more!

Poor old Dandy Squirrel. He can remember a time when he lived in a Chateau with woods that were chocked full of acorns but alas no more. All he has left from his family's fortune is this one solitary nut and a rather spiffy tail. If you want to give handsome old Dandy his forever home he'll be at Leicester Antiques Warehouse from tomorrow.

The thing I love about vintage finds is the memories that they can spark. This tray for example- it's not my taste but I remember it in my Granny's kitchen. Finding it today takes me straight back there to the smell of fruit cake baking and lots of cuddles. That's why I had to bring it home.
