It's always exciting finding a new sett and putting a trail cam out, Even better when it has two cutie cubs :)
Some of our lovely local brocks (taken with long zoom lens)
Lovely to be able to photograph them in good light in the summer :) Our bashed up old boar and one of last year's cubs.
Just some cute cub footage. Poor mum doesn't get much peace!
Hey there gorgeous.....
One of our beautiful Brocks posing amongst the nettles.....
"You're one of my clan.... And you're one of my clan too..... " My neighbouring blocks nicely demonstrating allo-marking
Our first West Lothian cub this year. Sadly after looking cute for a bit he decided to "badger" the camera. After that all I got were pigeons!......
Happiness is..... .... a beautiful badger nose emerging into the spring sunshine
Before I got a trail camera I had no clue that this was going on at the top of my garden in the middle of the night, about 15 metres from where I am asleep in my bed!
Some frozen badger tootsies and some hair ice on this morning's walk
He's behind you :) !!!!!
The best of luck to Broxburn Athletic FC tomorrow for their Scottish Cup tie. The only football club we know of with a badger on their club badge. 'Mon the Brox! :)
This year, instead of buying Christmas cards and spending money on stamps, why not make a donation to Scottish Badgers in lieu of Christmas cards? You'll receive a festive E-card to forward on to family and friends.
Here's how easy it is to set up:
1. Visit www.scottishbadgers.org.uk and make a donation of any amount.
2. Email [email protected] and we'll send you a festive E-card to forward to friends and family.
Look - the lady bought a new Trail Camera...... We had better smile 😆
Every evening when they emerge this clan have a bit of a "cuddle huddle" and grooming session......
Look at all these amazing entries - and then vote for your favourite(s) for the "people's choice" award by liking (or loving!) by midnight on 31 October
The Guisers have been 🎃🦡🎃...... Happy Halloween from the West Lothian Clan. (No pumpkin was left for wildlife consumption, photos taken from a distance with long lens x)
Well good evening there gorgeous.....

Just a badger portrait - what a beautiful little face (taken from a wee hide with a long lens).
All flooffed up and no where to go :) . (Was on tour to Dumfries last weekend looking for owls, but it would have been rude not to photograph the brocks.....)
A nose just asking to be for.a "boop"
Little Miss Mucky Face
"But I want to test my new Brock-tastic wine glass" - possibly the lamest excuse ever for a sneaky mid week glass of something nice 😂🦡🍷
One of our local cubs, still a bit camera shy. Wee cutie
The class of 2023 - some of this year's Brocklets.
There's something stripey emerging from the nettles. Boop! :)
