Look at all the wonderful things Ripples of Compassion are able to do with your support. Thank you # # #
As we come to the end of another year we wanted to share with you the difference that all the support you give us makes to the families we work with.
π "Without your kindness this moment may not have come for a long time." π
Since we started we have now helped over 2,000 families!!
This year we have seen demand for the help we give more than double and are now in desperate need of more funds so we can continue our work.
Without more support this means in 2023 we will need to start a waiting list for our therapy support for the first time and reduce the number of bereavement libraries and headstones that we fund.
Even if it is only Β£3 a month a regular donation makes a huge difference as it allows us to plan our services consistently. You can set this up as a standing order straight into our bank (details at the end of the post).
We also have our a-z fundraising ideas guide for those that want to help in that way. Get in touch with us and we can support you with planning and advertising whatever you do.
Back to the good news though!
In 2022 we have
π Helped 8 families access bereavement therapy
π Given 77 bereaved families self-care boxes
π Provided 16 keepsakes to bereaved families
π Helped fund 15 headstone for children that have died
π Given 117 food parcels which is over 1,000 individual meals to families in hospital or bereaved parents
π Provided 8 bereavement libraries to bereavement services
π Helped 9 families with bespoke support
π Given 6 edventure play sheets to help children in hospital
π Provided 7 activity parcels to children in isolation
π Shared 300 relaxation flashcards with bereaved siblings and children with cancer going through treatment
π Introduced our digital download resources so more people can access our support for free
