Good pace all weekend despite limited practice. Heat races went well to give us a decent starting position in final, but the bad luck continued after being spun out by another competitor at 1st corner on lap1.🙄

- Qualifying 1 🌥️ - 3rd
- Qualifying 2 🌦️ - 3rd
- Heat 1 🌥️ = 3rd to 3rd
- Heat 2 🌥️ = 3rd to 4th
- Pre-Final 🌥️ = 4th to 4th
- Final 🌥️ = 4th to Retired (🚑)

Up & down weekend concluded with getting pushed in tyres after passing them 🙄 and another visit to medical team to check for wrist injury.

The bad luck 🍀 for the year continues but looking forward to next race of the National Kart Cup Rd5 at Fulbeck.😎

Senior Rotax Championship 🏁 - 40nr entries

- Time Attack #1 🌤️ = 23rd
- Ht 1 🌦️ = 21st to 22nd
- Ht 2 🌤️ = 7th to Retired
- Ht 3 🌤️ = 19th to 18th
- Time Attack #2 🌤️ - 22nd
- Final (A) 🌤️ = 34th to 19th

Results above don’t tell the whole story of the bad luck in every race this weekend.
- Heat 1 - mega drive & set to finish top 6 but taken out on last lap.
- Heat 2 - taken out lap 2.
- Heat 3 - to avoid a crash trip across the grass to dead last.
- Final - again to avoid others who crashed bent steering. Had to then restart final last with poorly handling kart.

But never gave up against a very competitive grid and with a year of poor luck it will change soon 🍀🤞.

Different approach this weekend running with 🔵⚪️⚫️ Nibsport Matt Isaacs Racing team with brilliant driver coaching / reviewing track data with Jake and perfecting the kart setup. 👏

15th ⬆️ of 77 in Championship - 545 pts

Decent pace all weekend on used tyres vs most on new 2nd set of tyres during the heats. A spin on the out lap meant starting final in 34th recovering to 24th by the 🏁

- Ht 1 ☀️= 4th to 4th (⏱️ Fastest Lap)
- Ht 2 ☀️= 26th to 8th
- Ht 3 ☀️= 20th to Retired
- Final (A) ☀️= 20th to 12th

16th of 75 in Championship table - 379pts

Brilliant pace all weekend aiming for the podium with mega power 💥 🚀 allowing to complete 26 overtakes in a very competitive grid and if not for an unfortunate accident in heat 3 could of started further up the grid for the final.

Despite giving away a few points with the accident and both kart & driver a bit battered & bruised it was a brilliant weekend and moved up the championship table.😎

Despite not being able to attend Saturday practice, Jake raced hard but a retirement, mixed conditions and lack of practice kept him on back foot all day.

But valuable setup experience for the National Kart Cup championship round at Dunkswell in June.

🔴⚪️⚫️ 2022 National Kart Cup Championship at 3 SIsters - Rd 1

Senior Rotax Championship 🏁 - 64nr entries

- Ht 1 🌦️= 21st to 10th
- Ht 2 ☀️= 2nd to 3rd 🥉
- Ht 3 ☀️= 25th to 11th (15th after 5s ⏱️ penalty)
- Final (A) ☀️= 17th to 13th (6s behind winner)

13th of 64 in Championship table - 196pts

Brilliant pace all weekend on a very fast track were we only raced once before, with mega power 💥 🚀 allowing to complete 29 overtakes in a very competitive grid and could of started final in top 8 without heat 3 penalty.

Despite giving away a few points a good start to championship. 😎

Despite not being able to attend Saturday practice, running used tyres and spare 2016 chassis on race day, Jake raced hard all day with his new engine from AAM race engines which had awesome power 💥

And gained valuable setup experience for the National Kart Cup championship in 2023.

- Heat 1 🌥️ = 21st to 15th
- Heat 2 ⛅️ = 10th to 17th (spun around 1st corner)
- Heat 3 ⛅️ = 4th to 8th
- Final 🌥️ = 12th to 17th (spun around 1st corner)

Zero luck all day as 3 out of 4 races either spun around first corner or delayed by 1st lap incidents. Jake raced hard all day and especially heat 2 and final when dead last.

But was quick on track and gained valuable setup experience for the National Kart Cup championship in 2023.
