*National Rescue Dog Day*

As most of you know my journey into to dog training began with working in rescue, the reason I am doing what I do now is all down to my work with so many amazing rescue dogs over the past 11 years! What a privilege it has been!

I have been very lacking in my social media posts the past few weeks! Yesterday I actually remembered to take a few pictures in our 1-1 sessions!

These four lovelies each had a 1-1 sessions yesterday, everyone working on different things and all of them an absolute pleasure to work with!

🐶 DOG OF THE WEEK 🐶

This is our Pixie💛 She’s a gorgeous 1 year old Mali x🐾
She just loves getting out and about on long walks and running about our fields with her favourite people( which is basically everyone she meets!!)

She is so affectionate and loves getting attention from all the staff and volunteers who have fallen in love with her. She would love an active home with someone who has experience with her breed or similar so that she can continue on with the training she needs to be the best girl!
We are also looking for a home where she is the only pet and older kids as she is a very jumpy girl (she thinks she is a frog!) 🐸

A huge well done to yesterday’s puppy class graduates!

These guys absolutely smashed their puppy training course alongside their dedicated owners!

I am really going to miss having you all in class on Saturday mornings and hope to see you again at follow on class!

How handsome is Mr Thorin?

Thorin and his owner had their first session this evening!

We began working on helping Thorin feel more confident when guests are visiting, providing him with a safe space to relax undisturbed and teaching him that he can choose whether or not he would like to interact with us!

Thorin did very well this evening and I am really looking forward to our next session!

Our Bark Brigade crew all had some huge successes in class this week!

A great start for their IMDT Partnership Grade One! These guys are such a joy to have in class and it has been wonderful to see some of them progress from puppy training through follow on classes and now continuing their training further!

All of these pups had great fun on our confidence course this week for week four of their puppy class! I can’t believe we only have one week left, these guys are absolutely smashing it!

We also welcomed some new faces starting their training journey this week at their first puppy class!

Myself, Just Pawing About and Sarah Matthews Dog Training are running this event for the Owner's of XL Bullies, due to recent announcement of legislation changes of restrictions of XL Bullies.
We'll be discussing what the legislation is and what is needed to be done, Muzzle Training demonstration, Loose Lead, etc.

Winnie and Chester both started their training journeys this week!

Both dogs are working on achieving different behaviours! In their first sessions we began working on the foundational behaviours needed to start them off on the road to success!
